Are there going to be new profile pictures going up based on the Star content? My friend uses our account and I periodically change his avatar from Gambit to a random Disney Channel starlet, it'd be nice to have a wider pool of pictures to annoy him with.

Looking at the additional content, it feels a tad harsh to say it's gooseberry fool and limited.

What probs are you having, dude? The addition of Star hasn't changed the core functionality of the Disney+ app. I'm using it on my TV (Android) and it seems to be pretty quick and efficient.

I watch it all the time! The Ducks are rubbish and have been for a couple of seasons. I support Buffalo, obviously.

The majority of it is hidden away so you have to search for it. It really needs an A-Z section.

You mean you're not interested in such "cult classics" as The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen or Percy Jackson - Sea of Monsters?

What's wrong with you?

So how does the premier access work? Is extra monthly payment or a one off to watch the film early?

Its a one off to get early access to the film as far as I know. They did the same thing with Mulan.

Not disputing that, but I wouldn't class either as a cult classic, which is the category they come under on Star.

It's generally pricier than a cinema ticket because they're factoring in multiple people watching it in a household. If the whole family are sitting down to watch it then it's probably worth it. Otherwise, give it 4-6 months and it'll be on the normal subscription.

I don't understand why anyone would pay extra to see a film that will be available on the standard subscription in a matter of weeks/months, it's not like there's a shortage of stuff to watch on there.

This.

Especially when it's more expensive than the cinema. I understand the "cinema is more expensive with an entire family" argument, but it makes no real sense as the cinema is about far more than just the movie.

Yes it's about not being able to focus on a film because someone in front of you is playing with their mobile.

Cinema is definitely more than just the movie. It's also about getting popcorn stuck to your feet, listening to idiots talk the whole time and trying to not get distracted by people pissing about on their phone the whole time! :toot:

If they really want to offer the full cinema experience, they need to change the audio mix to have the rear speakers output some fat banana split eating all the way through the film, bursting out laughing at the slightest hint of a humorous comment, breathing heavily, coughing once but loudly every time there's a quiet bit, checking their phone every five minutes and dropping it at least once. Bonus points if they edit the video to have the sillouette of a family of 4 walk across the bottom of the screen a good ten minutes in to the film having started, with one of the kids jumping up and down, running along a row, then running back to where he's supposed to be sitting. The family all have a box of popcorn, each the size of a small family suitcase, barely any of which will get eaten.
