When the current account runs out, set up a new email address and use that to create a new Disney+ account?

I cancelled my Disney+, then redeemed the code. Though the code took months for me to get as I had to register and put on loads of details and was supposed to be emailed a code. I then did the thing laga did and got a code instantly, not sure if they are meant to be different offers and I've not received the first code or not.

That's my other option, set up a whole new email address and use it to register a new account, and see if I can redeem the code on it.
I tried that before though and it gave no code redeem options during the account setup.

I might give that a try and use the email purely for Disney+ for a year. Downside is losing my watch history and profiles but a year of free sub is worth that.

Has anyone else seen the Studio Ghibli Star Wars tweets?

Some kind of collaboration going on there.

Am currently watching Revenge of the Sith. The fact that they didn't explain Palpatine's return in Star Wars 9 with reference to the tragedy of Darth Plagus the wise, I think was an oversight.

Though of cause, maybe the whole point was that it wasn't a true story but a temptation but it's heavily implied that Palpatine was the apprentice.

Not sure about the first episode of Willow.

It's ok, but nothing special.

I guess the movie is gooseberry fool really, but nostalgia makes me love it.

I noticed earlier that its a 16+ rating on Disney+ which seems an odd choice.

He literally used the "Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural" line, though. That's from his RotS Plagueis speech.

Anyone watch the mini series 'The Patient' with the fella off the office (Steve Carrell)? Its about a killer who kidnaps and imprisons his therapist to treat him. I really enjoyed it - great little series. Worth a look :D

Haven't seen it in (many) years but the bit in the ruins with the trolls scared the gooseberry fool out of me as a kid.

See also Legend and the part with the Devil.

Yeah, they said they were going to add in the "When Love is Gone" song that was cut from the original release. There's a date here of December the 11th, so not long to go now.

January 4th, return of the Bad Batch:

Shame about the deliberate and continuing whitewashing of Temeura Morrison.

I really can't decide whether Willow is terrible or not. I think my main problem with it is Warwick Davis. He seems to have forgotten he's supposed to act and is just Warwick Davis half the time.

I've actually grown to like this now. Warwick Davis is still the worst thing in it but the rest of the cast do a decent job. I particularly like Boorman. I mean he's no Madmartigan but he does a decent job as the stand-in.

I've decided it's terrible. Really really terrible.

But I do enjoy watching it.
