I did before we got the work discount, but I have got a 4K TV to take advantage of it so for me it was worth the cost.

Skittled through Aladdin and Hercules last night - HDR kicked in for Aladdin, not 100% if 4K kicked in as I believe Disney are blocking it for now but the picture quality on my OLED was tremendous.

They’re doing The Mandalorian week to week on UK version of this even with us having had to wait for it :fp:

Not sure if they're worried about people using the 7 day free trial to binge it or what, but if that's the case, just don't include it in the free trial. Don't punish the subscribers.

Were people not aware they were going to be doing that, though? It's been mentioned in here enough. If you don't like being made to wait even longer for the shows, don't sign up. Make sure your free trial doesn't carry over into a paid subscription and just sign up when they've caught up with the two months of weekly content the US version had last year.

Surely you can just wait for it all to come out before hitting the trial, if you really want to do that.

I'd honestly forgotten they'd taken that approach with the American release and had been looking forward to binging it this week

It’s not exactly advertised.

I’ve already waited several months for it when it probably would have been just as easy to pirate it. Doing this week to week thing is daft when it’s already been out for months.

It’s not about not paying for it either as I’m happy to pay for a month, that’s what I’d been planning. Its just frustrating not having it all be there.

Still some viewing is generally better week to week and the first episode was cracking.
