I used to collect comics, but stopped when I realised I was buying more than I had time to read. That and me falling out with DC after they cancelled Hellblazer...

Lego's probably the only other thing that I'd say I collect, and that just tends to be 2 or 3 sets a year, although my loft space is starting to be called "the Lego room" by my kids.

My wife has always liked collecting bits and bobs and is currently into those Funko things.

Those funko things are the most generic low effort collectible I've seen in a long time

A few things. The worst thing I can do is put it out on display, because eventually I know all I will see is £££ and end up flogging it for profit. And that's why none of my most favourite collectables are ever on show.

I never really considered my N64 games to be collectables, but looking at them now i guess they are, and they're probably quite valuable too.

I have mint boxed copies of Paper Mario, Majoras Mask, and Banjo Tooie among others.

You’d get well over £300 for those three games alone nowadays - a mint boxed copy of Paper Mario will go for upwards of £150 on eBay.

If you’ve got any that you’re looking to sell, I’m gunning for the PAL set.

Jesus Christ. Thanks for the warning, thankfully I think the individual prices would be enough to stop her from starting a collection of them.

Yeah, I'm not much of a fan, but the odd one here and there are pretty cool. The return rate on them is just daft though, have seen her sell some for over £50!

I only have the one and it's worth anywhere between £25 (active bids in that range) and £100+ (Buy it Now listings) It's a "vaulted" (i.e. no longer in production) Joffrey Baratheon.

HEY, where shall we put this flammable plastic tat? By the cooker of course what could go wrong? I'd say above the fireplace but the tv is there.

It’s good but why right next to the cooker though?

I have collected loads of things over the years but I have tried to stop collecting stuff because I become obsessed, at the moment it’s Apple products but I’m not getting carried away, the main previous collections were Kato Japanese N-Gage, Forces of Valor, Lego, Military Uniforms and Antique Flags

I'll have you know that my TV is placed in the corner of the room, where it should be, and the space above the fireplace is taken up by a rather nice painting, with the mantelpiece being home to some photos, a clock and...bloody hell...Ron Swanson and Lesley Knope Funkos.

At least I don't have a "Live, Laugh, Love" art print anywhere in the house.

FOR strawberry float'S SAKE.

I used to collect DVDs, as in I had a positive movie library. I was living with Pedro at the time and between us we could have opened a strawberry floating rental shop. Jettisoned the majority of them between a couple of big moves, but a few I really should have held onto slipped through.
