What we really need to do is create a powerful sense of dread.

Getting impatient for my bass now, it's been ages and I've got no eta for it arriving next month. As I've had no updates since ordering I might drop gak an email to see what's going on.

Are they sending you weekly emails about the delivery being delayed due to covid? That's all I seem to get from GAK at the moment :slol:

I've not had a single email since i ordered it (it was from someone explaining it would be delayed and to tell them if I wanted to cancel.)

Can you order from somewhere else? Because that's a crazy wait.

It's out of stock everywhere (in the colour I want). Another retailer is showing estimated stock on the 16th of December.

Well I’ve not seen one of those before! Lovely colour. My bassist uses this massive thing called a T-Bird. Weird shape. Prefer yours.

Thanks, I've not had a bass before and I thought it was a good trade off between price and looks considering it's only really for recording. What I'd REALLY want is this, but I can't justify about £3k for something that's not my primary instrument:

Absolutely strawberry floating stunning :datass:

I was in a band once where a guy used one of those and I couldn’t get away with the sound of it...it had a really thick, chunky ‘thunk’ sound. Look nice though.

I tried one a few years ago and my initial impression of it was that I wasn't blown away by it. I didn't like how it felt. My ears weren't used to how it sounded through amp it was going through. Seems like one of those brands that haven't really innovated or improved over the years. They cost an arm and a leg as well.

I didn't really get to spend much time with it however. So this could all be meaningless drivel

They're very distinctive, I think I like it just for its looks :datass:

Hi Ming, welcome to the topic! Looking forward to hearing your stuff. Yeah I'd imagine you're restricted either by time or by current post count, it's probably to stop bots joining and spamming porn (a feature we should drop imo :x ).
