My neighbours do. There's a wee deep pothole outside my front window that fills with water and the birds bath in it. It's dead cute and my cat loves watching them frolic. If the council ever come to fix it my husband and neighbours will fight them to keep bird bath happy.

What about toasted teacakes? They're not just bready, they're quite curranty too.

Feed them something that is wholly unbready and not even slightly curranty!

How about a muffin?

No muffins! Birds don't like muffins around here! They want no muffins, no toast, no teacakes, no buns, baps, baguettes or bagels, no croissants, no crumpets, no pancakes, no potato cakes and no hot-cross buns and definitely no smegging flapjacks!

Although you can't see it you know they are smiling, each time someone shows that he cares.

Such a hauntingly beautiful song.

Disney info wrote:Richard Sherman was invited to "help dedicate the Walt Disney statue at Disneyland" (the Partners statue of Mickey and Walt holding hands, at the Magic Kingdom) at Disney's Centennial celebration. Sherman was asked to play some songs, and so he did. Before playing the last song, Sherman said: "Now, I'll play Walt Disney's favorite song... and it's just for him", and he played "Feed The Birds". Sherman was told afterwards that "just towards the end of the song, out of the blue sky one bird flew down where he was playing, and then back into the clouds". Sherman believes that it was Walt Disney and got emotional when remembering the event.

Sherman's the only one allowed play the piano in Walt's office. Walt would call him to the office and ask him to play the song while Walt stood by the window, looking out at the skyline and contemplating life. This song was Walt's favourite song and, frankly, my favourite as well

I sometimes feed the birds on the seafront when I'm having a bag of chips. Depending on the numbers, I either protect the pigeons from bullying seagulls while the eat, or, if there are no pigeons, throw chips high into the air where the seagulls catch 'em, thus making me look like some kind of wizard.

Occasionally I go to the boating lake with bags of feed and feed the ducks. They're surprisingly gentle, even if some do painlessly nip me thumb for attention. They scoop the feed up like shovels. \o/ I also feed the geese 'cause I'm a double-hard animal whisperer.

Opinions expressed in this post are those of RJ Badman and do not reflect the views of Bovril Fluid Beef Ltd.

I saw what Google tells me is a male bullfinch this morning. It looks like a bluetit, but the yellow bits are pink (knock yourself out context).
