There's an interesting side discussion in the best value console topic that some people feel guilty about taking time doing a jobby they enjoy so I thought it may be interesting to see how widespread this is?
Obviously if you're having to look after a baby there's a reason that you don't have time for jobbies but apart from that I really don't see why anyone should be made to feel guilty for wanting to spend time either playing a computer game, reading or any jobby.

I find it very odd that simply wanting to spend some time doing something you enjoy is seen as selfish as long as you're not completely neglecting the family. I see many people who are forced into giving up jobbies they love by partners simply because they say it's frivolous or childish and then those same partners expect them to watch gooseberry fool like Eastenders with them or some bollocks.

So, do you feel guilty for wanting time to relax?

I honestly have no idea if I should be offended or flattered about this?

Don't see what the sorting hat from Harry Potter has got to do with it really.

No wonder Harry felt so awkward when they shoved the Jobby hat on his head then! :dread:

Inspector, we've found the body in the living room.
Ok let's go take a look.
Hang on, sir, before we go in you should know...they've left a jobby on the carpet.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

He was fine with the Jobby hat on his head.

It was Dobby between his legs that caused the weird feelings.

I can't come back into this topic while I'm at work. I swear one of the directors just caught me smiling from ear to ear at my laptop.

“No nothing’s wrong, he’s just looking at an internet site about jobbys”

“He’s planning to move on?

“No, he just really likes gooseberry fool”

"A site about jobbys" pretty much sums us up!

If I wasn't at work myself I would be hastily constructing a "Jobbys + Stuff" logo to submit :slol:

When I'm out and about with my son and I feel the need for a jobby I obviously can't drag a buggy and a toddler into a standard cubicle so I feel like I'm entitled to use the accessible toilet as I am, to all intents and purposes, someone's carer. However, if I do one as smelly as the one I'm doing while I'm writing this and I open the door to someone who quite clearly has no option but to use the accessible toilet I may feel a pang of guilt as the wide frame door releases my terrible gift to the world.

I find it very pleasurable to have a good old jobby and if anything I am actually benefiting the other inhabitants of this world because it probably lessens the rotten stench of my farts. So no, I don't feel guilty at all.

Noel Edmonds should introduce Mr Jobby. He then goes around being an irritating gooseberry fool shouting Jobby, Jobby, Jobby! indiscriminately.
