Just clearing out a cupboard, and wondering if I should bin the boxes for my consoles, or fill the attic with them. So, what do you do? Keep all the packaging incase you sell one day, or hope it's going to be worth something in 50 years time? Or do you bin the box before your consoles booted up.

Keep the boxes. To everything, in fact.

Controllers, add-ons, memory cards. It means I've got a clutter that I don't really need. I should really stick all my game cases in the attic and just use those plastic CD sleeves to greatly decrease storage space.

I also keep all of my boxes in a great big cupboard. Whenever I go in there I enjoy seeing them there.

I bin them. They take up far too much space otherwise.

If it was expensive, I keep the box. Thats the rule. I am someone that sells my stuff on quite regularly, so its useful. I put all mine in the attic. Out of sight, out of mind.

Keep 'em. For the nostalgia, I suppose.

I keep them. I always use the boxes and repack my electronics for safe transit when I move house. I've even got the boxes to my 15 year old NAD hi-fi system which have served me well!

Ive still got a load of boxes. I started to throw out a few at the weekend (wii zapper and mariokart wheel).
I think im going to throw more out this weekend because they take up far too much room.

I'm always selling stuff on eBay so I keep them as you tend to get more money if the items are boxed.

I keep boxes and store them in the loft. My PS3 box currently has a PS2, a PS1 and a Gamecube and all the controllers inside. Useful.

Going to have to economise space wise in my new flat, so will probably only keep my the boxes from my most recent console purchases. May even consider getting rid of some game boxes and keeping the discs in a wallet thingy. Hmm. Not sure I'll be able to bring myself to do that. Am already doing it with CDs, and will very likely do it with DVDs. But games... not sure I can do it to games!

Of course I did, I'm a gamer.

I keep the boxes for consoles so I can pack them away for safe keeping at the end of the generation.

I keep them, though I have damp issues in my cellar, so half are covered in mould. Ah well.
