Do you sell/trade in your games?

Anything to do with games at all.

Do trade in and sell your games when you've finished with them?

I usually trade games for new games. There are people who have spent loads of money on games and hardly played some of them.

I used to hoard my games but now i've become aware of the money i've wasted and will now either sell in ebay or trade in. I refuse to let a game sit unplayed on my shelf, it's just a waste of space and money. Instead I play the games, get rid of them and then if I do want to play them again i'll rebuy.

I keep them, that way if I ever want to play them again (generally I do) I have the choice.

The only time I traded a game in was when one time I picked up a flyer for GAME and they were offering some pretty good trade in prices at the time. GRAW 2 had just been released which I wanted so GRAW 1 was completed and totally surplus to requirements.

Back in business after a lengthy absence from gaming and Grcade.
Recently got myself a PS4 with FIFA15, TLOU, DriveClub and MW:AW.

Games that otherwise would have gone into a cupboard, never to be played again, are effectively getting me a free console. All the money I get from trading-in goes to a separate savings account, and will eventually buy me a PS3 or Wii (or whatever follows the 360). I could go and buy one tomorrow, but I love the idea of getting one for nothing.

I've still got all the other games I've bought over the years. No point in getting rid of them now.

Where are you trading in for cash?

I always trade my games in these days, although I never used to. It just dawned on me a few years ago that I had hundreds of the things lying around that hadn't been played since completion.

Stupidly, I traded in GTA4 pretty quick after finishing, forgetting that there is going to be DLC. Duh.

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

I trade in impulse buys that are okay at best. Classics and favourites are keepers, even if I will never play it again.

I only keep the cream of the crop these days, coming from a guy who used to have over 200 PS2 games and about 100 Xbox games. Can't justify the money these days so I try and sell as quickly as possible.

I now have 2 360 games (Orange Box and Halo 3), 2 Wii games (Resi Umbrella and Marble Madness) and no games for my PS3.

Saving for a house/car is what did it, ebayed my entire collection. Thought I would really regret it, and yet I don't.

I usually keep all my games but this generation I've started selling a few. They tend to be average games which are only worth one play through, I'd never part with a lot of the major releases.

I'm going to trade in as many games as I can this generation. The first trade-on was my GC-collection for a 360 with Gears and the PGR3-LIVE-Arcade-Unplugged-With-Extra-Controller-bundle. No regrets.

This all makes me regret importing all those DS games :(

I don't trade in all of them. Just the ones i don't play anymore and have no intention of playing again.

If i've played a game to death, and i love it, i won't sell it. You can play any game as much as you like.

Question: Can you trade in a console without its packaging? I want to trade in an Xbox with 2 controllers, but don't have any of the other stuff.

Cheers if you can help.

That's good. Can get some money from that to go towards game buying, then. :D

I rarely get games when they are at full price, I usually wait a while until they drop in price considerably. By then they'd be pretty much worthless at trade in so I might as well keep them.

Usually sell them a few weeks after I buy them, games just don't seem to last these days.

With achievement points up for grabs, I tend to move games on much quicker than I would have done in the past. I have a few 360 games that are going nowhere, but only a handful.
