If it's pouring down then yes I do. Always keep a large umbrella in the back of my car.

If you had to pass an Umbrella proficiency test then I'd be down with them but owing to the people that don't understand that the umbrella is bigger than they are and attempt to take your eyes out with the rib tips...no, strawberry float umbrellas.

I don't wear a coat but I have a great umbrella.

Coat with hood for me.

I keep a nice spring loaded telescoping one in my work bag as an emergency measure. Way more convenient that having to worry about bringing a coat or not.

Never used to because Scotland = sideways rain and umbrellas just don’t cut the wind and end up strawberry floatin useless. But I’ve recently invested in a decent umbrella from John Lewis because I had a gift card and couldn’t think of anything else to buy. It’s no bad, but I wouldn’t pay £22 for it myself. Makes me feel like a corporate queen though.
