You need to leave the house. Do you wear a face mask?

I don't currently go to public places where people gather, and only go outside to exercise.

When I'm out in open spaces? No. When I'm going to be indoors and within close proximity to other people? Yes.

There's a new theory which suggests COVID-19 can be carried on the air, so really I should be wearing a mask even when in open spaces.

Should change the poll options to indoor/outdoor. If I'm going indoors then I do, and have done for months. If going out for a run I did when the virus was more prevalent but it's a strawberry floating nightmare so don't do so anymore.

Always in the shops and on public transport, though if I'm only walking outdoors or in a park, no. I purposely take the back streets away from anyone else. TBH I've only been going out once or twice a week anyway. Sainsbury's Local, the Post Office, and the park. Not exactly the most exciting life. :msgreen:

I try to in indoor spaces, but I'm finding it difficult to get into the habit of keeping one in the car etc, especially when no-one around me seems to be bothering. Actually making it mandatory in shops would be a big help.

Glasses wearers: do you take your specs off? Mine fog up ridiculously badly but I'd rather take them off than be sticking my mask to the bridge of my nose with a plaster, etc :lol:

Not all the time, if I'm going to public places where I can keep a distance from people then I don't. If it's a small indoors place or somewhere where a lot of people will go to, like a protest, then I wear a mask.

The poll isn't nuanced enough IMO. I go for a walk: I don't wear my mask. I go to the shops: I wear my mask. That's probably not enough but I only have two masks.

So the answer is yes you wear a mask.

I've not been out in 'public' since this started, but I have a mask and will wear it if I have to go in to a shop.or something. When I've been out exercising or walking the dog, I go very early to avoid people and chose routes that I can stay on the other side of the road if I need to.

I bought some but I've never bothered actually wearing one. Probably should do though.

I’ve got some in a drawer but haven’t used one yet. The 2/3 shops I frequent have a 2/3 person limit, and there’s screens, good air circulation. Will be wearing one for my haircut at the end of the month because my stylist said it’s mandatory.

Yeah, even when out for a run.

I wear gloves too as well as wash my shopping when it’s delivered. I used to go to the shops until they relaxed the rules, now no banana split is wearing a mask I don’t want to go into the shops.

So far, i have only been wearing them on public transport.

Mine fog up, but it often depends on the type of face covering i'm using as some types seem to make it happen more than others.

Have to keep my glasses on though otherwise i'll start bumping into things.

That’s not necessary at all. You can still be perfectly sensible and minimise the risk of catching/spreading without a mask.
