Nothing wrong with that at all. I've forgot about it at 11am many a year.

Theres a difference between that and the reprobates who go out of their way to make twats of themselves during a silence.

Appears that James McClean got off pretty easy this year.

I didn't witness any poppy abuse this year or even have anyone try to sell me one. Lest we... forgot.

We had 2 minutes silence at work today. Except for some strawberry floating plebs chatting and laughing away in the little kitchen where we make tea and coffee.

It's that time of year again, the Poppy police are mobilising for another campaign.

I am now being shamed for not having a Poppy by a strawberry floating dog. :fp:

I see the Poppy has to have the year on it now as well so you can prove you're not a cheapskate banana split re-using last year's poppy! :fp:

I wonder if it’s going to be more or less intense than usual due to the pandemic?

I’m expecting a couple of headlines along the lines of:

- Ridiculous Claims Poppies Are Covid Spreaders
- Our grandfathers did not fight and die just to see us wear a mask

I'm expecting a lot of giant poppies in windows. Bonus points if they're painted by the kids.

If the British Legion did a poppy mask I would buy one.
