Doctor Who- returns for series whatever it is 11/5/24 | The Grand Moff is back!

you know we're talked a lot about how bad the current run is but i was wondering what everyone considered to be the low point of the four previous docs

ill get us started: the long game, love & monsters, night terrors and smile

I'd go with Aliens of London, Fear Her, Closing Time and In the Forest of the Night.

The others I can stomach because whilst maybe not the best TV ever, they are not outside the realms of implausibility as defined by the very loose laws of science fiction.

But there is no way a creature that just hatched out of an egg the size of the moon could then lay an egg the exact same size. Realism and realistic are not the exact same thing. I can brush off stuff that adults overthink like how do Superman’s flight mechanics work but that egg was beyond daft.

I don’t mind closing time if I’m honest. I get told I look like Matt Smith and my brother is the spitting image of James Corden so the 2 of them hanging out is kinda cool in my eyes.

personally im not sure realism or realistic matters in the realms of fiction but i do think the whole egg moon thing was quite daft. i just thought there was worse episode for 12. but fair enough anyway

Well thats cleared that up then. :lol:

Would make a lot of sense for the anniversary really as the toymaker could be a great way of bringing together a lot of "random" elements.

Same. I feel so sorry for Jodie. Really hope she gets some amazing stuff from Big Finish or any anniversary episodes in the future as she deserves to have a proper good run with the role.
