well i think it was including the years weve had so itd only be three more

unless he counted the gap year for some reason

The five year plan has been kicking around since before his run was broadcast. It's never really been clear if its actually 5 years or 5 series as I don't think anyone really expected the gaps in between to be as long as they have. He might well have a 5 year plan and then decides he has another too. ;)

Hopefully not 5 series :shifty:

It was the episode where James Corden was revealed as an alien that forces people to sing in cars.

I'm just watching the episode "The Haunting of Villa Diodati".

She is from somewhere much, much stranger.

The north.

Really enjoyed that. Pretty scary in places. Following on the back of the good previous episode, I'm starting to think this current Who run can deliver gripping stories.

Rewatched it tonight as I didnt feel right being the only person who hated it. Like I really didnt like it on Sunday.

I've basically done a 180 on it. Its far from perfect. I wouldn't even call it great but utter shite it was not. The opening gag is crap and makes no sense. The Cyberthing just lets a bunch of random horror things happen and only the perception filter stuff makes any slight sense, I never got the feeling it was actually keeping the Cyberman out though. Not until Shelly could mind teleport it away. You never see him walking around in circles. I've got no idea what the point of the hands were. Or why they "attack" the baby. Or why the Cyberman conveniently arrives at just the moment it does. "Nothing can get in or out!" Apparently. Then lucky lightning strikes which causes the Cyberman to recharge which achieves...... er nothing. The meshing of the horror and sci-fi stuff just doesn't gel very well in this one for me.

But its got some good things which I cant really be bothered to write about tbh.

Yeah she blabs on about something intangible that I think was just a technobabble way of explaining that the Cyberman can make energy from the lightning. But basically he cant use his gun because out of juice then gets juice and doesn't use gun and being charged up doesn't seem to do anything at all. I mean I know why it happens and thats because FRANKENSTEIN but it has no impact on the story (Shelly aint around to see it either) which just makes the entire only got struck by lightning by missing the Doctors face and accidentally punching through the window thing even more irritating to me. Also thats the second time this series getting struck by lightning has happened. At least its not hit the Doctor yet thank strawberry float...

I look forward to seeing the CyberAquarium doing things like making skeletons move, creating illusionary mazes and teleporting things against their will next week. These things will deffo not be forgotten about in the great Cyberbattle to come.

Technically the Dr who made it is Dr Frankenstein the monster doesn't have a name at least in the original book and filn.

Ah so its like Dracula and sunlight. So it actually makes adding the lightning bit all the more pointless. :shifty:

I do believe that the Monster should also be known as Frankenstein as the sons take the names of their fathers in the place the book is set and as Frankenstein when created him believed him to be his son originally it would have taken his name also the monster believes himself to be the son of Frankenstein and names himself Adam. I believ his name is in his eyes, Adam Frankenstein.
Could be wrong.

There's probably a much better way this has been said somewhere else.
