Perfect description. And I agree with the stuff in your spoiler box.

It was probably the best episode in the series so far.

But that's not really high praise.

Whilst it's impossible to do and know for sure if that had just been the weeping angels in the creepy village it could have quite possibly been my fav story under Chibbers. But of course it could not be. But yeah I think that was the best Flux story so far. Shame I don't really care about The Division. Or Bel. Interrupting the credits for that :fp:  (also how is Vinder travelling? They left him on a ruined world) Frustrating as it would be nice to have 1 story I could properly recommend.

I think the paper fixing itself was a bit gimmicky but the projection with fire was a fab idea. I know the angels can steal voices but something seemed a little off at points. Dunno what is was. Like at points maybe it was meant to coming from an angel rather then a speaker? Might just be me.

At this point it seems pretty obvious that this and the Sontaran story were 2 they had written and ready and then when the format changed they forced them around the Flux stuff. Damn shame.

I really don't think Bishop is much cop at this acting thing.

Nice touch with the theme at the end.

Bless you Moffat for creating a monster that even Chibbers couldn't totally mess up. :P

I'm not sure that anyone has been touched twice in the show though? Happy to be corrected if my memory is wrong.

I'm well behind the curve on this - watched the first two episodes last night.

Episode 1 I actually thought was half decent, it suffers from plenty of Chibnall-isms ("We're talking about the thing that we're doing, all the time!!!" etc.) but overall I quite liked the setup.

Episode 2 was just a trudge to get through, I nearly gave up on several occasions.

Please tell me it gets better?!

Supposedly Rory in The Angels Take Manhattan. I haven't watched it recently to check though.

Well that's good to know.

Let me guess, this is balanced out by episode 3 being an absolute turd?

There was a really good Weeping Angels horror based episode there with rubbish flux stuff interwoven into it which dragged the whole thing down to medium territory

Doesnt that ep also have it happen at different times? Its been awhile. At least one is undone by another no? It full of paradoxes I believe. I dont think he is zapped back and then zapped again straight away? Not that it matters really as the Angels have shown that they dont always feed and will just outright kill people.

i believe the whole idea was the angels were trapping people in that one building so they could send them back endlessly
