No surprise there then.

Looks ok. As I anticipated the hidious new Daleks are earth made versions based on the version from last years special. I suspect we will get Dalek vs. Dalek action when the real ones turn up. Or it turns out the Daleks where waiting to use the drones all along. Basically a rehash of Victory of the Daleks. Obviously with what happened last time out the Doctor and the fam are apart which seems to be the main way Chibbers can do anything. The Doctor to turn up towards the end and save the day? So Victory x The Christmas Invasion.
The best thing so far is it will probably piss off the right wingers with the obvious May/Trump combo.

So I just watched the trailer for the new special and....it's basically just a rehash of that World War 2 Dalek episode but now it's the present?

I AM YOUR SOLDIER!

Hard to get much of a feel from a trailer but I'm not massively excited by that. Still nice to see more of Captain Fat Harkness though

Cast news spoilers

Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole will make their final appearances as the Doctor's companions in the Doctor Who special on New Year's Day, the BBC has revealed.

The news keeps reporting on the "collapse of Arcadia" and I keep thinking "Blimey, Doctor Who is getting more mainstream coverage these days!"

Hee! Jo  . I doubt that I'll get this even though it looks neat, Matt; it seems to be quite expensive!
