Watched it last night. Its fab. Will probably watch in colour again tonight. The famous "mouth" scene has a whole new meaning at the mo. :slol:

:dread:

Watched the surviving footage after which just broke my heart. As great as the animated stuff is (and at points you can argue it might be able to improve over the original) seeing Pats face do its thing just reminded me how tragic it is that it probably doesnt exist anymore. :(

Just so you know The Edge of Reality looks to be a port of the VR game (The Edge of Time) but with some extras (new story with 10)

The Daleks! show is coming Nov 12th. Despite looking cheap as strawberry float I'm really looking forward to this. Seems to be a big tribute to the 60s Dalek comics.

Doctor Who in 2020 seems to be the year of David Tennant

I've recently been watching Once Upon A time the TV Show about fairytales and I can't help but think the actress who plays Regina in that would have made a much better Doctor than what we have now.

Those games look alright, certainly interested in the one with David Tennant even though he'll porbably be in it for only a few minutes.

She's pretty great at showing the weight of decisions and going from being serious to going a little silly, has an interesting look about her.

I really haven't liked the current Doctor at all , it's the only time I've been constantly hoping for a regeneration, as well as hoping the companion count would decrease 3 is just to many , I have always preferred 1 or 2, I think like have one get another then later drop down to the newer one rinse and repeat.

I feel that the issue has been more the (IMHO) low quality of the storylines and scripts rather than the actors and actresses themselves.

I grew to like the Doctor more than I did at first and I enjoy the diversity of the companions. The stories have been so weak, though... not really that exciting. It's unfortunate as they have clearly had far more money spent on them than the older series - some of the effects are pretty good - but the plots and conversations have been so uninteresting. This is a huge shame as it can reflect upon the people themselves.

I really hope that the next series (sometime next year, I believe?) is a return to form.

But, hey, what do I know - I believe the viewing figures were pretty good for the past couple of series?

I did enjoy the new Master, and I do quiet like Bradly Walsh and I liked when the dalek was on the woman's back , but in general I have not been a fan of The Doctor or of a lot of decisions made about the Doctor not being from Galifray..

I think some of the Capaldi episode scripts sucked but he was good enough in himself to turn a turd into a watchable mess for me I don't feel that with the current Doctor, for me when the ideas are good she's ok, when the ideas are rubbish she is just rubbish. I do miss Peter Capaldi a lot more than Ecclestone, Tennant and Smith, I guess as far as modern Doctors go he was just the one who really jelled with me.

well i wont deny there was an actor in once who i can picture as the doctor, though you may not have seen em yet as theyre only in the last series

i like jodie whittaker but i feel its the writing thats letting her down, if she ever gets into big finish shell really get a chance to show what she can do

No I wont have seen them yet I am on the second to last series. I have really enjoyed it so far, the irony being the person whose acting I find worst in it is a toss up between either the lead woman Emma or the guy who plays Aladdin wow he has a weird voice, my fave actors in it are Robert Carlyle Rumple and the woman who is Regina, although I also really like the guy who is hook..... The guy who played the mad hatter was pretty cool as well.
