Does anyone else cut open their squeezy bottles after they're "empty"?

There's so much more in there! I cut open my moisturiser (I moisturise my arms as I like my sleeves rolled up and they look better when they're not dry af) and there's almost weeks worth of the stuff left. Same goes with cutting open mayonnaise bottles after a squeeze fails to produce any squirts. (I like the smell of mayo on my arms as well.) So yeah, don't bin those empty squeezy bottles! Cut them open to get at more of the goodness you spent good money on. You obviously have to be mindful if it's a food stuff squeezy bottle you're cutting up to reuse later, so just insert the cut bit of the bottle back in to somewhat help close them up again.

Yep, always cut the top off my moisturiser bottle (I use a facial sunscreen/moisturiser due to rosacea). You can easily get a few extra days' worth out of it.

I don't cut them open but I do sort of flick/whip them downwards towards the end to try and get all the goo towards the nozzle for a few extra doses (storing upside down helps too).

I usually take one serving from a squeezy bottle then throw it away in the regular bin, before opening a new one.

The moisturiser I use (L'Oreal Men) comes in a solid plastic container with a pump so would require a saw to cut open, but in terms of their face wash I do cut the top off and there's always loads in there - at least another 3 or 4 uses.

I do that with the mayo for a good few days and still there is a week's worth left after cutting it open.

Yeah. I use one of their pump bottles and it kills me not being able to crack it open.

I didn't realise my husband reopened his account here.

Edit: I am mistaken. You need to put the empty bottles back where you found them.

I had a battle with a mayonnaise squeezy bottle recently and the amount of left over may in there was a gold mine.
Funnily enough, for my birthday the other day I got given one of these...

Perfect for scraping the leftover peanut butter and whatnot from jars.

I'll get every last drop out of shampoo bottles and toothpaste bottles.
On sauce bottles I use a craft knife to open the
bottom corner then get the remaining sauce out.

Shite design, plastic bottles.

Don’t have the patience for that. Also, mayo on your arms? What are you doing?

I think he's joking mate. In the same breath as deodorent. But mayonnaise is used for some batshit home remedies.

I try to waste not. Pulverising my fingers to get the top of a toothpaste tube out, since you need so little.

Single use plastic is a scourge.
