I can honestly say the only time I've had proper sweat front to back was the last time I Mexico and we were walking through an actual jungle with 100% humidity and it was hotter than the sun. My shorts looked like I'd just got out of a swimming pool.

Profuse isn't the word. Not for me, at least. Everything is nice and neat, I just like to take precautions against excess odour.
