Yeah, I had a digital in the basket but passed on it. I need to stop checking on stock levels and just get one for Christmas this year, too many other things I want to buy instead.

I didn't even realise it was initially planned for this year. I'd always assumed it'd be 22

I don't think Cory himself was ever happy with the release year being announced.

Is Apex Legends easy to get into? I've been feeling like giving it a go but I don't want to get shouted out of a game if I'm not immediately the best gamer ever.

Did anyone go for the PS Now deal? I understand significant improvements have been made to the service recently. Can anyone confirm if it's worth it these days?

It's what I expected and I'm sort of glad it will release in 2022.

Has anyone removed their PS5 plates to check the dust trap things yet? I just noticed there's already a good amount of dust around the vents so I thought it'd probably be good to check it if it's quick and easy enough.

After months of waiting I finally got hold of one, arrived yesterday at 10 am at work, so as a responsible near 40 yr old I took the rest of the day off and jetted home for a non stop marathon till 11pm.

Hooked it up to my 65" xh90/x900h which arrived last month... I felt like a 16 year old in Christmas! Wanted to take today off as well, but unfortunately I am not aforementioned 16 year old.

Though unfortunately it did start crashing on me toward the end of my time with it. I only had 2 crashes in total, but given the fact it's a roguelite that's still not great. The crashes also caused the PS5 to rebuild the storage. Nothing was lost but not something you want to see on your new console! ...maybe I shouldn't have recommended it

Im really interested in that one, but since I heard its quite unforgiving I will wait for it to hit the Sales as I have gradually become really gooseberry fool at games.

Borrowed Miles Morales to play over the weekend, downloaded Dirt 5 as I love a good racing game to go with a new console and I plan to give Valhalla a go again, as finally I dont have to suffer those long ass waiting screens... and will definitely be downloading all my backlog to see how they run on the new hardware (Destiny 2 looked and performed so much better yesterday)

Ratchet and Clank is out next weekend right?

Miles Morales is freaking gorgeous. Although I played in 60 fps mode, I loved turning on RT now and then just to see the sunlight reflecting off the icy road as I swung over it. The mix of warm and cold, light and dark... I loved the look of it.

I think they released a patch to enable ray tracing at 60 fps (by decreasing population density and other stuff). no doubt ill be thinkering with all the options still
