The picture isn't legit. The PS5 doesn't have flat white sides, yet this photo shows a flat white rectangle. The photo has been taken at the perfect angle so you can't see the depth on any of the sides of the PS5. Additionally ZeD from the PushSquare comments said to look at it using Foto Forensics. It reveals an interesting rectangle shape contrasted with the rest of the picture which suggests it was added afterwards.

Honestly though, who really gives a gooseberry fool about how big it is? It isn’t ridiculous in size, not by any remote stretch of the imagination. Christ.
You should care more about the gaudy bright white colour - paint it black, as the Stones said.

Insomniac Creative Director Marcus Smith discusses how the game taps into PlayStation 5’s ultra high-speed SSD and DualSense wireless controller in this deeper look at Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

I genuinely don't think it'll fit in the gaps in my TV unit. So, to answer your question: I give a gooseberry fool.

Yeah I didn't buy an Xbox One until they made the One S because it fitted perfectly into the gap I had available whereas the original unit was far too big :slol: For the new ones I'm hoping they really go all out in terms of BC so I can just swap the old consoles for the new ones without having to miss out on old stuff

What's the consensus for the release date?
I'm thinking November 5th.

I'm thinking circumstances out of their control will mean 2021 launch for both.

Look at the PlayStation 5 close up (expand the view to fullscreen).

Reminds me of one of those futuristic skyscrapers you see in the UAE. Except not on fire.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it! All it needs is a helipad jutting out the side of it near the top and it'd be bang on.

It won’t fit anywhere on my TV unit unlock the three other consoles I currently own.

Amazon France put up a listing and quickly retracted it. Said 20th November and €499.

It's a very good best guess which may or may not turn out to be true, however there is no reason for Sony to disclose the price to retailers as it hasn't actually decided on the price.

In Theory: Can the PS5 Digital Edition deliver a cheaper next-gen console?

Removing the Blu-ray drive adds options, but the economics are still challenging.

Is there any speculation on game sizes yet?
I'm going to be upgrading to cable FTTP internet soon and wondering if it's worth splashing out on the 900mb connection instead of the 300mb.

If a game were 150gb it means the difference in download time being approx 70 minutes or 24 minutes.
Just not sure if it's going to be worth paying the big difference for the 900mb and futureproof myself against massive game downloads.
