Played a bit of ACV. Audio sounded a bit on the light side in the festive hall portion of the game.

Delayed yes. I got an email yesterday saying by Dec 15th. Guessing it’s a place holder for potential restock.

I hope Sony is letting the team to create a full on Astro Bot game. They deserved it after producing two top notch games.

It’s the only game that really impressed me with the stuff that comes with the controller. And they also made an excellent VR game that made me smile, and have that warm feeling like I did while I first played Super Mario 64 and Galaxy.

Do it, Sony. Let them.

Is there a list somewhere of all the different games the Astro Bots are filming and where to find them? There were a couple I came across where I wasn't sure what the game was.

Yeah thats the date given to the person I know who ordered via Curry’s, person who ordered via Game has been given the date of the 10th of December. Hopefully most of the bigger software issues will have be solved by that point.

I've basically spent the day with the console, thank the lord for 'working from home'.

I've had no problems with it other than that noisy panel at the start which has sorted itself.

I've downloaded 600gb of games, all runs fine, no bugs.

Astro is incredible and i definitely agree with the comment about getting that warm feeling, i hope they make a big game.

Miles looks great, but i feel like it's a bit of a weak game, go here do x go y do z etc.

Question: How do i know if i'm using the ps5 patched versions of Ghost of Tsuhima / witcher 3?

Yeah, since doing the factory reset all my system level bugs are gone. Rest mode, installs, external storage etc. all working as intended now. Really like the push notifications to the app for games being ready to play/fully installed.

As far as I know if you're using the most up to date version, that's the version.

Games that have a specific PS5 upgrade (e.g. Dead by Daylight and AC:V) have an entirely separate PS5 version in the store.

If you click the options button while a game is selected on the main dashboard, you can check the game version. PS4 or PS5

Well, strangely enough my Dual Sense seems to be working properly this morning (yesterday the thing seemed to be stuck pressing ‘left’, which was very frustrating).

I just fired it up this morning though, before getting on to PlayStation Live Chat to claim my tenner, and it’s working ok so far. I’ve gone ahead and ordered another one just in case though. I’ll hopefully be able to give AstroBot a whirl this morning!

Edit: no, it’s still strawberry floated

Got up early to play Demand Souls. But apparently my controller is low on power. It didn't charge last night despite being in rest mode.

I've googled solutions and if you use the back usb port that fixes it. Currently in rest mode charging while I sit and wait to play demon souls.

Can't you use a phone charger and play while it's charging?

That's a shame but I'm glad there's no pad shortage! You're in for a treat when you finally get to properly play Astro's.

It's causing motion sickness in you? strawberry float. Try placing something directly beside your TV - that worked for me when the narrow field of view on one of the 360 Orange Box Half-Life episodes gave me motion sickness. (Sight of the stationary object tells your brain you're not actually in motion and so can reduce/stop motion sickness.) Make the thing you place beside the TV something big, so it's impossible to not see it when you're looking at the screen.

Finished Astro’s Playroom and the ending is amazing proper throwback! Now got into Miles Morales and my god does it look incredible, the part where you enter Miles apartment looks fantastic. Loving that so far.

Installed God of War and had a look at that, that looks gorgeous on the OLED. Glad I have a backlog of PS4 games, plenty to get stuck into

Bought one yesterday from Amazon (5TB) to download all the PS4 games I own on to. Doing so now with about 100 items queued and in rest mode too, living life on the edge with PS5. I expect it to get to the last download and corrupt itself
