I'd recommend to play Judgment and it is a brilliant game. Only £35 for the PS5 version.

I thought it was good. Went in knowing it was third party and indies, was not disappointed with how Sifu and Death Loop are looking, and I'm now pretty sold on buying Death Stranding again.

Yeah the Death Stranding stuff made me wish I could erase my memory just to experience it again lol. Seeing some of the PS5 enchantments and immediately want to try out 3D Audio. The sound design in that game was second to none.

Well it says here it’s a ‘pending transaction’ but the cash has gone, I’m definitely £500 lighter.

Got a call yesterday for a second ps5 that I had preordered with another shop.

A colleague told me hed give me 600 Euro for it, but gave it to my nephew for 400 Euro

No no not been charged anything, just got an email saying I won the VIP draw and put in my details and said I would get a phone call ... Didn't worry at first as didn't quite have the money but now I do. The website says promo is finished so assumed they're not taking anyone else until those orders were fulfilled

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I've really enjoyed the series and got way more than my moneys worth from it so I have no problem with the pre-order.

We started a plague tale over the weekend. It's extremely linear, but not really in a bad way. Looks nice, got a good creepy gross atmosphere in places. The kid is an annoying banana split though and annoyingly you can't just kill him or let him die, he's integral to the story so you have to drag his whingeing ass around. It's quite fun telling him to stand somewhere and letting the rats eat him though

I see no free FIFA 22 upgrade this year for PS5 unless you purchase the £89.99 “Ultimate Edition”.

£59.99 for the standard edition of FIFA 22 on PS4, last gen version on PC, £69.99 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Considering how fast FIFA drops in price and then ends up as part of EA Play you’d have to be batshit to buy it at full price, in my view. But you know what kids are like…

To be fair, this isn't a Sony-specific thing but an EA thing. EA at making it so that the only way to buy an upgradeable version of FIFA 22 from either PS4 to PS5 or from XBO to XBS is to purchase that £90 version. A bit of a joke, really, but I guess some folk will still pay it.

The Game Collection already have the PS5/Series X version for £49.95.

If you're into ultimate team you will get it when it comes out to get the most of the early days of the market where you can make alot of coins to build your team.

Having said that, I decided to not buy fifa day 1 last year and it was the best decision I ever made. My weekends are no longer rage filled, and am no longer wasting money on fifa points through boredom and rediscovered a passion for gaming.

Fellow Boomerang breddas, how are you getting on with the rentals of PS5 games? Just added a couple there and I’m mildly surprised by the wait times - are you in for a wait or are they still pretty slick?

Depends on the game. Returnal is always available, small games are forever stuck on 6 days, waiting times reduce on the big games as and when new ones are released. I've rented loads of PS5 titles, so I can't see it being an issue for you. (I'm on the 2nd cheapest priority option.)
