Curry’s keep sending me emails on the assumption I’ve got the PS5 under the telly already which is funny but also annoying! Today it’s ‘How’s your game station looking?’ and they’re trying to flog me ‘gaming’ chairs, routers and bloody all sorts.

Isn't this inevitable across everyone though pretty much after the initial first year or two of launch? Especially for someone like me who will never buy the PS5 version directly as long as they continue to sell a PS4 version which has a free PS5 upgrade attached. The PS4 version can always be found much cheaper.

I've found the PS5 service pretty much normal for Boomerang.

It seems that a revision of the PS5 console (digital version) is taking place, with the console to be 300 grams lighter.

It's not yet clear what has been updated to account for the weight loss, but I'd suspect that the PS5 console (disc version) would see some sort of weight reduction if the digital version has?

Is this in any way related to supply issues rather than a design issue so soon into the launch?

It is an oddity; 300g is a fair amount so you'd assume there have been some reasonably substantial changes. I suspect we'll have to wait for more detail until someone gets hold of the revised model.

Really pleased about the AppleTV+ offer, as it gives me an excuse to finally try it out leading into Christmas.

Does anyone know if you can redeem it and then watch it via another device? Ideally I activate it and then watch via the app on my tv.

I believe so, but I've not actually tried it yet.

When you redeem this offer you get what looks like a standard "you've subscribed to Apple TV+" email confirmation so I would imagine it just behaves as it normally would and you can watch on any device

Yes you can. I redeemed on my PS5 (obviously) and have just tested it on my MacBook Air.

In case it helps, I've was given a 1-year offer when Apple TV launched. Since then, I've been unable to redeem any other trial/offer, including the year I was supposed to have received when I bought my MacBook Air in February, so this offer seems to let most people redeem it. The T&Cs mention you can't redeem it of you're an Apple One subscriber, but I can't vouch for that as I'm not one! :)

They've obviously ran out of gooseberry fool games to give away for free so now are giving way gooseberry fool media subscriptions.
