 What adverts?

As long as they're detailed in a changelog, that's fine. But there were times last gen where even that wouldn't happen. And I'm not even talking about the umpteen-million system stability updates.

Share play on PS4 is cool. So can you use PS4 pads on PS5 now or are they still pretending it wouldn't work?

Disabling HDR on non HDR games and videos is one of the more welcomed additions for me. I can kinda see why they left it on as it stops the ‘5 second black screen of doom!’ as the TV changes between the two (Apple reportedly also hates this) but it just ruins the picture.

I'll be leaving it as it is as I honestly have no issue with the image quality being too dark or whatever for SDR content with HDR on.

Couple of minor surprises. Don’t bother with a mechanical hard drive or NVME. Get yourself a decent SSD. I’ve got an Samsung 860Evo in the PC and it’s great.

Sony has announced more freebies are on the way too, surprisingly. Like Domino’s used to say...WE’RE GIVIN’ EM AWAY!

Thank you again to everyone who has taken the time to check out the Play at Home content drops this Spring. There is more to come, so please stay tuned and check out the Play at Home page. And remember: stay safe, stay socially distanced and wear a mask!

Thanks again to the community — and stay tuned, we’ll have another Play at Home update to share soon

Did they give Horizon a next gen update or are we still waiting? I definitely want to play it again before the sequel releases but I'd prefer to wait if it's getting a patch.

I was hoping they were going to announce an update when the game went free today, but alas no sign of it.

Just don't go asking for a sequel if you didn't buy it for full price on day 1.

I only played and completed the first release. That edition and this complete edition are different games and so save files aren't compatible (at least that's how it seemed to me when it appeared on PS Now) meaning I'd have to restart from the beginning. Loved the game but I cba with that. Will get around to it after they release a PS5 patch.

I bet so many at Bend were glad to see the back of him.
