Oh I was just kidding, I always read them :shifty: .
What manuals do you make?
I'm on about the manuals that tell you how to set-up the console and all the other gubbins like the monster legal disclaimer about them not being liable if the eat the joypad and such.

I used to make them for joypads, flight sticks, wheels, keyboards, mice, headsets and so on. I also did the warranty stuff, which is a legal requirement to have in the box, so is the counter to "but i dont read this gooseberry fool, Why do they even put it in the box when I just throw it away?!". Now o do manuals and data sheets/wiring schematics for life safety devices, so at least I know those get read.

And float off moggy.

I always wondered who wrote those. How did you get that job?

I can see that Mic mute button being pressed by accident instead of the ps button in the heat of the moment

The mic in the pad is more for voice commands than party chat.

Oh, yeah!

I never bother to read them either. Goes for any manual really, just hope for the best. Most recent time I have regretted this - getting half way through putting a bed together before realising the base was upside down. Should have read the manual!

PS button isn't really something you'd be pressing in the heat of the moment though, it's not like a main button used for gameplay.

I like the idea of a mic on the controller, but every generation I hear a phrases along the line of 'detects and cuts out background noise' and I'm yet to see this realised. Lets hope it doesnt pick up the noise of the controller vibrations, or online parties are really going to get the head banging!

Built-in mics are something we should be avoiding from a privacy perspective, and it's not going to be of particularly good quality built in to the controller anyway

I'd like to see inside the PS5 in the same way they did for Series X.
