There is a link that will appear for the PS5 version that will appear when you put the disc in. It should be to the far right of the install option.
Alternatively, if you highlight the game and press the options button, you can select which game version you want.

Ah I've got it, cheers!

Come on now. That's not true is it.

What was the GC line up again? I did have one, but I can't even remember, other than the Star wars game..
What else are you comparing it to? It may sound mad, but Astrobot has provided the most fun I've had on a console launch, for some time.

Full rundown here: t:remembering-the-first-year-of-nintendo-gamecube-in-the-uk?f=2

Thanks. That was an impressive line up to be fair.

It's stand-alone, Albear - although not as long a game as the original. For PS5 you can buy Miles Morales either on it's own or in a deluxe editon that also includes a port of the original Spider-Man game.

Jawa Bot needs defragging!

Spider-Man Mile Morales Ultimate Edition includes Spider-Man Remastered which is a bit more than a port. PS4 version is BC but it won't have the extra's that Remastered has (Ray Tracing etc)

Super thanks both! That's definitely on the list. Lost my PS4 to my nephew so missed out on quite a bit (GOW, Bloodborne, LOU2 etc)

It's for doing the challenges. I think its to make getting a platinum as easy as possible.

For saved video MP4 is better quality than WebM right? I saw a YouTube video made from MM footage that had HDR label pop up.

Nope. If a trophy isn't part of a "challenge" (e.g. collecting all 4 puzzle pieces on a stage) then on Astro it doesn't have a card. So counterintuitively to the whole point of cards, you might still have to use an outside source to get the Platinum.

Shouldn't be needed, you can just reveal the hidden trophy details by selecting them and clicking the Options button. That's what I did to mop the last few up. I presume that doesn't require Plus?

Nope. But trophy descriptions don't always give you a clear pointer regarding what needs doing.

Cheers both. Hidden trophies is viewable to all but they don't always make it clear. It's more for when I've seen something and I don't know how to get it. I bought a Plus subscription earlier so will explore it all later.

Mute the mic and the windmill will spin by itself :shifty:

(no context...) TWO times I was blowing and blowing until I had no breath and nothing happened! I had to give up. So I will try this later.

Can I ask another performance question please?

I downloaded my PS4 copy of Spider-Man last night and, the first time I played it, an option came up regarding selecting performance - when I did, there was some kind of 'Are you sure?' message. I clicked yes, going for performance over fidelity. The game ran poorly, certainly more jittery than on the PS4 Pro. I then upgraded my Miles Morales today so that I could download the Remastered Spider-Man....and that runs poorly too on fidelity mode. Best description I can give it is that it isn't smooth at all.

Feels like I've done something wrong. Any advice appreciated.

Fidelity mode is 30fps and performance mode is 60fps. They both pretty much hit their target always so if you’re seeing issues unrelated to it simply being 30fps (like the PS4 version is), maybe check your tv doesn’t have some motion smoothing option turned on.

As for the PS4 version running worse on PS5 than PS4, that should never be the case. Not sure what happened there

Like that, Game mode on TV will sort it out. I use Fidelity Mode on Miles and it's smooth as for me.

Thanks both. Checked the TV & I was already on Game Mode, so deleted both the PS4 & Remastered versions, then downloaded Remastered again and that fixed it.

No idea what caused it, mind! :?

Most under rated feature of the PS5 is the download speeds

For real. I kicked off the WRC9 download, saw some videos on the screen below it, watched someone play a single stage, and the game was ready to go before the video was done.

That's very true. In this instance, the clues were enough for me to work out all of them straight away, without resorting to a guide, because the game was so fresh in the memory. If I hadn't only just played it, I might have struggled to work out where to make the snowball.

I don't think it looks great, but I also don't feel it's the abomination that it looks like in photos.

I really wish it had a ps2 style full colour PS logo on the front though.

Are there any cute design features on the console itself? I moved the PS4 pro downstairs today to play TLOU2, and noticed the PlayStation symbols for the rubber feet, as well down the side (with a hole in the “O” for some reason). Had never noticed it in all these years.

The back of the controller and the console itself both have tiny PlayStation symbols engraved on them.

I earned a hidden trophy in Demon's Souls, but it hasn't appeared in my trophy list. The PS5 took a photo, but didn't record the normal video clip.

Has this ever happened to any one? Any solution? I've tried exiting the game, and rebuilding database, but no luck.

I think it looks ok, although it is very large. But no matter what angle I look at it from, it looks like it’s falling over!

Interesting, but possibly slightly biased*, piece on The Verge about the PS5 outperforming the XBox in early tests.

https://www.theverge.com/21718936/xbox- ... comparison

* I say that because it seems to gloss over the areas where the XBox is in fact ahead. Still, shows there might not be the gap some were expecting.
