I am. I've used it now and again such as when charging the DS. But I've also used it far more extensively, like when I played Borderlands 3 and I used it multiple times a day, for 4 or 5 days in-a-row! (Thanks to B3 being glitchy with its save files.) Never had a problem with it. (Which isn't to say it doesn't cause problems for others, of course.)

Yes, I've been using the rest mode since the launch day and no issues at all.

Blimey that was quick. Even though I have found every artifact and collectable, I still haven't got the platinum...

Anyway, what did you think?

I had to look at two of the trophies to platinum it, probably wouldn’t have found them if I hadn’t.

Really enjoyable game that shows off the controller. I love the feel walking on different surfaces, enjoyed the speed runs and that moment when you are walking into that sand storm.

It’s very short but I can’t argue as it was free. Personally as a tech demo it’s excellent however, the VR was a much better game.

I hope they expand on it and make it into a full game somewhere down the line. It seems to have had a really positive reception, so I suppose it's quite likely.

The VR one is a full game.

I will definitely try it out once we know more about Sony's VR plans; if there's gonna be a PSVR2, then I'll wait to play it on that. If not, then I'll wait for PSVR to hit one of its semi-regular sales before picking one up.

Had two crashes on DiRT 5 since today's update (on the lap time screens following a race right before it saves, therefore requiring you to do it again), so I'd recommend not downloading it at the moment.

It appears to have done nothing to solve the juddery framerate on visual quality mode, unfortunately.

Wonder how many PS5 consoles have been sold in the UK alone?

Managed to finish the career mode on DIRT 5 tonight and then I got a message saying my save file has corrupted and it’s taken me back to the Velocity part of career mode.

Here was me thinking COD Cold War was very buggy, but this somehow is even worse. And it’s only just been patched today. :fp:

On an unrelated note, the Channel 4 app is now available on the PS5.

Sure, but I don't want to invest in PSVR when a successor might not be too far away.

Is gooseberry fool isn't it? I've played the game about 4 times since launch becuase of all the jank. Average inconistent graphics, my save corrupting after kept first play session causing me to lose all progress so back to square one, crap wheel support that took ages to be fixed and then was still poor.

Game have stock!!

You have to queue for over an hour to get one, but if you're desperate, that shouldn't be so bad.

Introducing the next generation of VR on PlayStation

Today I’m pleased to share that our next-generation VR system will be coming to PlayStation 5, enabling the ultimate entertainment experience with dramatic leaps in performance and interactivity. Players will feel an even greater sense of presence and become even more immersed in their game worlds once they put on the new headset.

We’re continuing to innovate with our new VR system so that our fans can continue to enjoy the unique experiences that are synonymous with PlayStation. We’re taking what we’ve learned since launching PS VR on PS4 to develop a next-gen VR system that enhances everything from resolution and field of view to tracking and input. It will connect to PS5 with a single cord to simplify setup and improve ease-of-use, while enabling a high-fidelity visual experience.

One of the innovations we’re excited about is our new VR controller, which will incorporate some of the key features found in the DualSense wireless controller, along with a focus on great ergonomics. That’s just one of the examples of future-proof technology we’re developing to match our vision for a whole new generation of VR games and experiences.

There’s still a lot of development underway for our new VR system, so it won’t be launching in 2021. But we wanted to provide this early update to our fans, as the development community has started to work on creating new worlds for you to explore in virtual reality.

We also want to thank all of our PS VR players for your continued support — with upcoming games like After The Fall, Sniper Elite VR, and Humanity, there’s much more to come for PS VR whether you’re playing on PS4 or PS5. With both PlayStation VR and the next-generation VR system we’re building, our commitment to virtual reality as a medium for games is stronger than ever. We look forward to sharing more details in the future!

This year’s Play at Home initiative is kicking off in March and extending through June.

PlayStation and Insomniac Games will make Ratchet & Clank PS4 available for free download for a limited time through PlayStation Store from March 1 at 8pm PST / March 2 4am GMT / 5am CET to March 31, 2021 at 8pm PDT* / April 1 4am BST / 5am CEST. Once you redeem the game, it will be yours to keep. This 2016 PS4 action-adventure hit from Insomniac Games revisits the origin stories of these beloved PlayStation heroes and features a great mix of outrageous combat and comedy.

Our friends at Funimation (a joint venture of Sony Pictures Entertainment and Aniplex of Japan) are kicking in a very special offer: extended access for new subscribers to Funimation or Wakanim in the countries they are available **. Funimation is an anime-focused subscription service and Wakanim is Funimation’s European division. While there will be additional details to follow, this offer is only available to our community who sign up for and download the Funimation (in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand) or Wakanim apps (in most of Western and Northern Europe) starting on March 25 for a limited time.

Not to look a free horse in the mouth (or something like that...), isn't Ratchet & Clank on PS4 already available for free for PS5 owners?

Yes, and it was on ps+ a while back too.
