The haptic feedback on the headset is great. Strange and takes some getting used to.

What the strawberry float kind of response is this? Seriously? This is some gamerforever level gooseberry fool.

Indie games are, and have been for years now, where all the innovation in games comes from, with most AAA developers too scared of profit margins to attempt anything new (see; Sony's own rapidly tiring "cinematic" house style and EA's refusal to reboot Dead Space until another horror game did well). Indie devs are also the most vulnerable financially: someone can pour 5 years of their life into a game to see it sink like a stone due to the shitty marketing of platform holders.

So again, what the strawberry float is this response?

I only came in here to post about Sony buying that PC porting company but strawberry float

oh noooo

No one posted it, so nothing to apologise for.

They're meant to be expert porters. So, chances are, going forward, they'll be responsible for porting PS titles to PC.

We’ve seen Cole’s head-spinning powers in action before, but this Thursday we’ll get a nine-minute look at Deathloop’s time-twisted world as part of a new State of Play. The show kicks off at 10pm BST, viewable on Twitch or YouTube.

In this extended gameplay sequence, we’ll see Cole use his abilities to stealthily skulk across rooftops… or go in guns blazing to create a whole lot of mayhem. Lots of options available on Blackreef Island.

In addition to this long look at Bethesda’s violent adventure, we’ll have updates on some exciting indie and third-party titles. The full show clocks in around 30 minutes.

This showcase will not include updates on the next God of War, Horizon Forbidden West or the next generation of PlayStation VR.
Stay tuned throughout the summer though, as we’ll have more updates soon.

See you Thursday!

Deathloop  :toot:

That said I'm probably not going to watch this, we're long past the point where I know I want to buy the game so I've gone dark media-wise as I don't want too much given away before I play!

You may yet get a Godfall PS4 State of Play, what with there being more updates/SoP coming this summer

According to someone on reddit who got the correct date: it'll also apparently have a new GTA V EE trailer. (*strawberry floating yawn*)

Disappointed that the July 8th thing didn't turn out to be Sony's big showcase. I definitely preferred getting the big shows maybe twice a year to these little Direct style things every couple of months.

Deathloop is comfortably the game I'm most interested in for this year so for me this is probably the most exciting presentation Sony have had for a good while! :D

Oh yeah, I'll be playing it on PC either way but probably won't be waiting for it to arrive on Game Pass (assuming even the PC version will need to wait for the console exclusivity to end before coming to GP!)

If there’s one thing Gamepass needs, it’s more old news.
