Sounds good as I have never completed it.

I'm assuming the final reveal is expected about February?
With both Sony and Microsoft concentrating on the console this time and not pointless peripherals it should be a decent leap in power.

I know it's odd but I'm really looking forward to seeing Microsoft Flight Simulator as it could be the best looking thing I've seen on my TV. Flight sims (I know Ace Combat isn't a sim but it also looks fantastic) can dish out some amazing cinematic moments  .

wonder if we will see/hear anything PS5 related at The Game Awards this year? Or at the very least, a look at a Next Generation title via a TGA reveal.

I don't think we will purely because they won't want to make people not buy a PS4 this Christmas.
I have a feeling we'll have a reveal about February with E3 being being the final full spec reveal.

There seems to be some talk that a new Playstation Portable may appear at roughly the same time as PS5.

I know nothing about new phones but I'm assuming any new PSP would use similar hardware so how powerful are modern phones? Could we see a machine with PS4 levels of power? Maybe a handheld that plays PS4 games?

The Vita was great but lack of third party titles killed the handheld, plus expensive memory cards.

If it is true then I hope they will put in Vita backward compatibility as my vita died and there’s tons of games I got from digital sales I haven’t touched.

Isn't it rumoured to be more for streaming games using 5G?

I would rather sony focus on getting out tons of exclusives on the ps5. The ps3 suffered a bit because of the spread resources.

They had better have learnt a lot of lessons from last time.

Well the Dual Shock 4 is pretty much the perfect controller, so I am glad that there are minor changes. I guess larger triggers may enhance the experience, but think they will show off the hd rumble that they are implementing. Not too sure about the smaller thumbsticks though.

I would of made the touch pad a touch smaller & the options / share buttons a touch bigger. Glad they got rid of the light bar.

Yeah, I agree, but think the larger touch pad could mean that it will have more features - maybe stylus controls? I hope the battery life is better, but no big deal as they can always be charged and I who plays for more than a couple of hours in a row?

More like shite bar.

Although an easy way to increase next gen sales for both Sony and MS would be to make the cases transparent and add RGB trim to their RAM, fans, SSDs, etc, etc, etc; the Master Race loves gaudy looking tech that lights up for no reason. (Search RGB PC on YouTube, if you dare :dread: )

Apart from awful battery life, a pretty useless massive touchpad button, poorly implemented share and option buttons and personally, I think Sony are just being stubbon over the left analogue stick and d-pad placement but I accept that's more down to personal preference.

Touch pad works ok, but could be better and the thumb stick placement is a playstation feature, so you cannot really go and change it to where the d pad is. The share button could be larger, but who uses it?
