Pre-orders seem to be a shitshow right now? Why did they not just do a Microsoft and say pre-orders open Friday morning at 9am or something?

"Updates" would suggest known quantities, wouldn't it? If they show gameplay from DS, SSMM, HFW and reveal the price and release date, I'd be really happy.

But yeah, wording could have been a lot more clearer. My point was merely that, broadly speaking, the way 'updates' was used in that sentence meant it could be interpreted in multiple ways. They also didn't expressly state no new games, just like they didn't say anything about price, pre-orders or release.

Thanks for this, managed to get a pre-order in for the disc version, though still slightly wary that they'll end up over selling their allocation.

I had the option of skipping signing up for a credit account and just going direct to credit card payment.

If PS Plus collection is just 18 titles, that's a really poor offering, especially compared to Game Pass. I assumed the trailer was just supposed to be a taste of the highlights, not the full library.

I'm sure they will, but I was hoping for a more substantial portion of the PS4 back catalogue on there.

PlayStation Plus is the equivalent of Xbox Live subscription for online play.
The PS Collection means PS5 owners will have access to this library of games.

My brother has decided he wants a PS5 so now I need to try and watch out for getting a second pre-order in somewhere.
