The time trials are short but fun!

I'm glad we don't need to do those for the Platinum though!

Has anyone else got the issue where the controller doesn't charge in rest mode? Seems to be a common problem after googling it, apparently the back usb ports will charge in rest mode but the front one doesn't.

Astro's playroom completed. What a really enjoyable little game. It's a really fun 3D platform and it actually feels really rewarding.

The USB ports are set to only charge for 3 hours by default, but you can turn that off in the settings. Dunno if that helps.

Yeah I tried switching in to 'always' charge but when I go into rest mode the charging lights on the controller turn off so I don't think it's charging at all.

That's strange cos I'm charging my DualSense in rest mode at the moment. It's flashing orange lights and it's plugging in the front too.

It arrived. I’m extremely lucky and chuffed.

Came with Miles, and I popped out an hour ago and bought Sackboy so the kids and I can play together. The rest of today and tomorrow are going to awesome!

I'm finding them really addictive, I just to do faster and faster runs. As long as I top my friends list I'm ok

Astro's GPU song is such an earworm!

Didn't realise the time trials are completely new levels so I'll definitely be sinking some time into them.

You can upload 4K clips and it’s a lot faster than the PS4!

Definitely, that song is stuck in my head and I think it will be the one thing I associate most with the PS5 launch.

That whole GPU Jungle Level was so fantastically crafted. The whole game was such a great showcase of the new controller.

They definitely have a new kid orientated IP in Astro after this game.

Edit: I hope Sony also manage to get some of their smaller studios to work on some games that really take advantage of the Dualsense. I don't think most AAA devs will make use of it, but I hope Sony give it some life.

I've played the jungle level of Astrobot and was completely oblivious to all the historical Playstation references

Default capture (as in wanting to record previous X minutes) is 1080p60. But you can set manual capture to 4K, and the article linked below doesn't say anything about that option reducing fps.

I feel that a sly nod to Wave Race 64 would have been perfect for Cooling Springs.

I just had a brilliant hour and a half playing Sackboy with my 7-year old daughter. What a lovely game it is. Totally recommend it. God she laughed when she picked me up and threw me over a cliff.

Would love a new water based racer like Wave Race or Splashdown on PS5.

The opening to Cooling Springs, especially the bright blue skies, made me immediately think of the Dreamcast and SEGA.
