I like the cold, I don't mind the dark. I'm not fond of the rain and would prefer if we had proper winters with snow. I don't like the summer, I hate the heat, not being able to cool down properly, not being able to go out as regularly because it's hot. I hate feeling grimy because I'm sweating all the time. I'm also more likely to get depressed during the summer (summer-pattern SAD). So yeah, summer isn't great for me. Lighter evenings are nice though. Spring and Autumn are nice compromise months (or at least were before global warming meant we get summer temps well into autumn) but winter is where it's at.

I prefer the colder weather to be honest, although a clear and crisp day is the best rather than chucking it down with rain, though rain/snow can be equally as nice if you can just spend the day indoors.

I really need to buy a new pair of blackout curtains as well, current ones seem to be letting a bit too much light in now.

Can you not go out when it's dark? What's wrong with enjoying the night? :capnscotty:

Yes but like I said it provides more options. More daylight improves my mood, weather is likely to be better. I never said you can't enjoy winter evenings :fp:

You don't need an "excuse" to prefer darker / colder weather. It's a preference, what is there to be confused by?

I like warmth but I don't like it when it gets to hot.

Just back from a holiday and the amount of people with burned skin or even worst brown leathery skin. I don't get it. I'm in factor 50 every day.

I'd say they were not as bad as Mail zealots, but the Sun types are more likely to get punchy in Benidorm.

I was out until 7am Saturday and then hung around somewhere until 5pm, then slept for 24hrs, so it doesn't really matter to me. I didn't notice.

Do prefer the spring, summer can be a bit difficult but winter can absolutely strawberry float off.

I prefer the warm, light days, but it's beneficial to see the best in all climates. Fireworks night would be naff in July...

I feel a lot less likely to be raped and killed when walking home/jogging in the light tbh.
