Yep, it's that time of year again where your sleeping patterns get messed up.

Those lighter evenings though. :datass:

I can't wait! It's so nice to have light evenings, plus it feels like the start of summer. :D

I used to hate the summertime because I prefer darker nights - but now it gives me an extra hour with my partner in the evenings before he goes to work in the morning (time difference goes from 9 hours to 8).

The one thing I hate is the lighter mornings.

Lighter evenings make it harder to put the kids to bed early so this a massive inconvenience for me :|

Lighter evenings are indefinitely better. You can enjoy the evening more. Just provides more options.

Can you not go out when it's dark? What's wrong with enjoying the night? :capnscotty:

I'm confused by this thread, this country is so miserable and dark for 7 months, cold, wet, and you guys are complaining? It baffles me! Warmer weather and a nicer climate is simply devine. Although...I think the only valid excuse being hay-feaver/alergies.

To be fair, Qikz does quite famously suffer from terminal hayfever.

Also in terms of the lighter mornings/evenings and going to sleep. I trust you all have purchased blackout curtains and an eye mask?

I have to sleep during the day due to my shift work, it's the only way. I'm also a very light sleeper. I actually quite like them Manta masks.

Lighter evenings makes the commute home a lot more tolerable on the days I have to do it, as people seem incapable of driving when it's dark around here for some reason.

Biggest thing I love is the lighter mornings. It's truly depressing getting out at 6am to walk the dog/exercise and having to wear a body torch, spent the whole time in the dark and it's still dark when I'm getting ready for work.
