It kinda reminded me of the "2D HD" style that games like Octopath Traveler use. I wouldn't say it's better than the original style but it's impressive that someone got this system working.

It’s a creepy liminal space map that starts off innocently enough as a standard house but you soon realise something is amiss. It has garnered interest from well beyond the Doom community and for good reason. You need the latest version of the GZDoom source port to play it.

I love liminal space stuff. I watched a couple of videos about this wad and it looks amazing, can't begin to contemplate how long it must have taken this person to create this level/reality. Very impressive.
