What are the chances of Final Doom being released on Switch? Slim to none I would wager. Which is a shame, it's the Doomiest Doom.

TNT Evilution and Plutonia Experiment are the two WAD packs that made up Final Doom and those are both available for the current gen Doom ports?

Final Doom on PS1 was a mix of those levels plus "Master Levels For Doom 2" I think, there's a decent chance those will come across too I would have thought.

Doom and Doom II have had another update that adds proper wide-screen support, gyro controls and another new Add On chapter. The gyro controls are a bit weird but it's nice to have the option!

That is incredible really!

*taking the piss joke here*

Doom 64 continues to impress. The only thing I flat out don't like is the new laser gun is gooseberry fool, and the double barreled shotgun doesn't have enough reloading animation.

Are you playing 64 on the Switch? I've enjoyed dipping in and out of the Doom and Doom II releases on Switch but find the controls just a bit too annoying for me which would put me off getting 64 on Switch.

I think being so used to the game on PC with keyboard and mouse makes anything else just feel wrong!

Seen this story getting picked up a lot, but he replaced the pregnancy tester's CPU and LCD, not really getting it running on pregnancy tester if you do that

Yes playing on the switch. It controls beautifully with the pro controller (silky smooth sticks :datass: ) and it's got a buttery smooth frame rate.

Love it but hate that it doesn't tell you how many secrets there are on the map screen. I want to know if I've found everything before I get to the end :(

Some great prices on Doom titles on console digital stores at the moment.

PS4 - Doom 64 £1.19, Doom Eternal £18.14
Switch - Doom £1.99, Doom II £1.99, Doom 3 £3.99, Doom 64 £1.99
XBO - Doom £1.19, Doom II £1.19, Doom 3 £2.39, Doom (2016) £4.49, Doom Eternal £18.14

Anyone planning on tearing up one of these deals?

Play the original Poom, right in your browser!

(pico-8 version of Doom with original maps)

Surprisingly good fun, though it hurts my eyes to look at it for too long.

Doom... with ray-tracing :o . Looks to be well worth a look if you have a PC with the necessary tech.

Looks almost diorama-ish in some of the footage. Strangely lovely.

I think it looks gooseberry fool, it doesn't suit the art style at all.
