Can't wait for the full soundtrack, I think I'm looking forward to that more than the game itself.

Switch logo isn't at the end of the trailer which has made many think it's been axed.

Hopefully its not been cancelled...... We still don’t know just how long its been delayed for though, hopefully not long though!

I just pre-ordered this. I genuinely can't remember the last time I pre-ordered a game.

Can somebody in here remind me to play it when it turns up next week please to save it going to my 1,000+ games backlog

absolutely not, stop asking this wrote:I genuinely can't remember the last time I pre-ordered a game.

The Binding of Isaac - Rebirth and Aftermath.

Or the SNES mini if you count that.

Happy to help.

Hmmm, I was thinking physical games rather than digital, but nice stalking, fellow Vamp :shifty:

If it were £5 cheaper, I'd probably buy it on CD Keys.

Part of me sees this for the nonsense fun it is, but then there's also part of me that sees this as a part of the game that's the kind of needless distraction that the first game was so good for having excluded.

Hmmn. I'm not sure! I love character personalisation in games but I hadn't really thought of Doom as being the kind of game it'd be suited to.

In Animal Crossing I'd be well up for donning some pink wings and a rainbow t-shirt but I dunno if I'd want that kind of setup in Doom. It kinda feels like publishers of AAA titles are trying to fit all aspects of every game into every new game.

Will probs spend hours on creating a look in the game, though.

Surely that's just for multiplayer? Does the single-player even have third-person cutscenes?

No idea if anyone has posted about DOOM 64, but the rerelease will have an extra new chapter. Well, that's what I read.

https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/doom-64s-port-will-include-a-brand-new-chapter/

the new chapter will chart Doomguy's confrontation with the sister of the Mother Demon, the main antagonist.

Pre-ordered with shopto and paid via Paypal, but since then they’ve been sending me offers for it 3 quid cheaper than I paid. I cancelled my pre-order yesterday with the intention of re-ordering but they’ve given me no confirmation that it is actually cancelled I’ve had no refund. The strawberry float is going on over there?

Shopto have this shitty policy of giving your refund to you as credit and forcing you to buy something with them again. They don't let you spend your credit on digital content but will quite happily give you your refund for cancelled digital content as credit. :fp:
