In this 2017 session, Doom composer Mick Gordon provides a detailed look into the compositional process, production techniques and creative philosophies behind the hell-raising soundtrack to the 4th installment of the seminal first-person shooter franchise, Doom.

The Playstation version is the best. Like you say, the changed lighting and soundtrack made it a far more engaging, terrifying experience.

Looks good, have they said if the Switch version will be coming out on the same day or will it be delayed slightly?
Edit, looks like its coming on the same day which is very good.

I'll be all over this, Doom 2016 was a contender for my GOTY that year and I can't wait to get stuck into this.
The new mechanics look like a great addition to the way the game works as well.

Don't think anyone's highlighted this yet: 10 minutes of new gameplay footage
I immediately went and played a few levels of 2016 DOOM after watching it. Looks strawberry floating great.
EDIT: The Helmet is cool. Everything else is bullshit.

I only just learned of the dev's plan for a Doom extended universe (?)
Is that a strawberry floating joke? I can't help feel this would be Doom Guy's reaction to those plans:

So the Doom Hunter is pretty close to how I imagined Sir Killalot from Robot Wars when I was younger.

Not gonna lie, I was really looking forward to this for next month so I'm a bit bummed out. Now I'm worried it's going to get lost amongst the sea of big games next spring.
