Doom | PS4, Switch, PC & Xbone

Full game is indeed much better than demo, but it's still not a patch on Wolfenstein and I'm just not feeling the urge to go further with it. I'm glad I gave it a bash, though.

I'm happy with the current view though and I'm almost finish this 100% as I only need to do all challenges on every missions.

Playing in classic pose was cool. I hope they bring that back for the next Wolfenstein game.

Completed all Mission Challenges.

One more trophy (A Toe into Madness) to get Platinum. 8-)

I took a break from this to finish The Witcher 3 but went back to it last night. With a vengeance. Was playing it until about 1 and my head was buzzing. SUCH CARNAGE.

Finished Kadingir Sanctum and played a wee bit of the next level.

Try and stick with it if you can, it really kicks up a gear in the third level and doesn't stop!

Actually it is the first Doom I've ever completed!

Shame that the DLCs are for the multiplayer and I wish they could do one for the single campaign.

I can't even do this game on the easiest setting! Keep.running out of ammo and now I'm a good way on, the demons etc need big guns to take them down.

I don't want to have to restart so I can change my upgrades to be more ammo focussed but that may be the only way for me to complete this!

One thing about Doom, you have to keep moving all the times and try to use the environment like barrels to shoot so it will kill the enemies and use gory kills as much as you can. It will gives you ammos, health or armours.

I do all that but you can't glory kill until you've taken most of their health away in the first place though.

Started this tonight (had done the first 2 levels before, but no further). It's such a rush, but I can't keep up with the pace for longer than an hour or so at a time, so I'm breaking it into 2-level chunks and playing it that way.

Streaming, too, but with no commentary, so you can enjoy the awesome audio at source.

Hardly ever find gas for it. Plus it doesn't work on the bigger monsters

It does if you upgrade the ammos and it will kill Baron, Hell Knights and most of them anyway.

Thx BOR. sounds more and more like I'll need to start all over and focus my upgrades more and more. I generally spend evenly across all stats and weapons instead of maxing anything out

After trying the demo I'm really impressed with how well optimised it is (I just about hit minimum requirements so I figured medium settings would do), so I'm suddenly pretty tempted at that price.

Finished this at the weekend, now just have to go back and get those last few collectibles that I'd missed.

9/10 best shooter in ages, loved it.

I never finished any previous Doom games, but I loved this one! It's definitely one of the best shooters ever I've played and now I want more! MOAR! :nod:
