Everyone's waiting for the Switch release blates

I couldn't wait. Absolutely adored my playthrough, the translation, as is often the case with Dragon Quest games, is sublime.

I missed that part of the Switch trailer but it looks like includes the retro 2D version of the game that was in the 3DS version?

If Persona 5 doesn't get a Switch version then I'll probably be getting the Switch version of this whenever that's out. The 2D mode looks ace.

as long as they havent made any other drastic changes, id say its an instant purchase: such an amazing game so far.

Picked this up in the Golden Week PSN sale, as I needed something meaty but light-hearted to play.

it feels lighthearted but theres been two points that hit me right in the emotional goolies.
its also massive - im up to 100 hours

Been checking out the Switch footage of this from E3, looking forward to picking this up later this year. Probably be something I play over the Xmas break.

So, what's added to the Switch over PC? I know it has orchestral music, is the top down SNES look only on Switch and is that it?

I know the PC version can be modded to have the Orchestral music, how easy it is and is it the official music or what?

It's ridiculously easy to add to the PC version. Literally replace some files I think.

That said I do believe there is a decent chunk of additional content in this. If you've not got it already, this is probably the one to wait for. I'm considering double dipping on it.

I have the PC version which is the main reason I was asking. I'm trying to work out whether to double dip or not.

Already got it on PS4 but hardly touched it only playing a couple of hours if that, but the new additions of the Switch versions makes me want the game again. Guess I just leave the PS4 version and jump straight to the Switch one.
