I mean part 2 was mostly new stuff in old places which I was cool with but then part 3 is largely the same perhaps even more so since you have to literally redo certain events because of time travel.

I'm not feeling that, yet, as I've only re-fought Jasper, and the bit after was different enough. And I have my group back to the level they were before, so that's good. But yes, if this comprises of rehashed fights then it's going to be a bit tedious. But what gets me most is how they chickened out of keeping Veronica dead.

The trophy list kinda spoils that aspect of the game as well as Hendrik although I figured that one out pretty early on anyway.

It's not so much rehashed fights although there are a few of those, more rehashed dungeons, thus far I've had to play back through Cobblestone Tor, Dundrasil Ruins, the mural and the Cryptic Crypt with Octagonia caves, Kingsbarrow and I believe Mt Huji still to go.

I think I might take another break before getting burned out again.

That's even worse than rehashed fights as the dungeons were the worst aspect of the game for me :( Oh well.

A lot of it is side quests but they mostly lead to unlocking the best gear.

Have Square given any indication that the Switch version content is going to launch on PS4 at some point?

Picking up a lot of S class weapons now.

Currently on one of those annoying synchronised pep power missions :x I know of the consumable. I still hate the mission type.

Not that I've read anything on it.

I have one of those which I believe will involve either a spot of grinding or a bit of respeccing one of my characters. I bloody hate those missions!

I’m gonna try and get a bunch of the side quests cleared out tonight. A few them seem to centre around Royal Library... yawn, more repetition.

As much as I was lavishing this with praise a page or so ago I feel now I am soldiering on simply out of an obligation to do so. I’ve put around 120 hours in thus far and feel I’ve come too far to quit.

Apologies for double posting but Malicious Arachtagon can strawberry float right off, hits every banana split for most of their health every turn and either poisons or paralyses them all to boot. This is DQVII all over again.

I think I'm okay with not seeing how Calasmos concludes. Will happily move on once I find something suitable to play.

Can we get a thread title change please SoK? I keep forgetting that I’m meant to be interested in this topic, and interested I certainly am.

Just did the Kingsbarrow pep mission. Not sure if worth it when taking into consideration the cost of the Pep Pops. I liked the cutscene after it though

How did you deal with Malicious Arachtagon? I could barely touch him.

This isn't going to be of much help!

I saw you mention him earlier and I thought you'd written Crystalotl as he's the one that absolutely wiped the floor with me. (Ditto Jormunn!) But then I double checked, realised who you meant and... I don't recall much about the Malicious Arachtagon fight! Except for the fact that I barely escaped with anyone alive. I think Rab was last one standing and he very luckily landed the killing blow with Pearly Gates. I just got lucky. Sorry. A move I rely on *a lot* to avoid status ailments is Serena's Snap, Crackle, Poof spell. I'm sure that played its part, as did going nuts with Hero's Quadraslash and MP restore. Buying lots of Perfect Panacea wouldn't hurt either.

Someone asked in the Nintendo Switch thread, what are the benefits of being able to move around whilst in battle?
