Cannot wait to see some more of this. A release date would be fantastic, too!

I've always thought PSVR might make an appearance; probably because of the use of Move controllers, and the likes of Tiltbrush etc. which make an immersive sculpting environment look so exciting.

I fear I have a bit of a closed mind about this and I don’t really know why. The ambition is incredible and I am usually a big fan of developers trying to introduce something fresh... but I am just not feeling this. Little Big Planet never clicked with me; the gameplay felt “off” and the creation aspects seemed too clunky. It seems like Dreams is a game-creation tool, perhaps far more capable than LBP, but I am pretty cold on it.

I hope that I am shown to be wrong.

I loved LittleBigPlanet without ever making my own stages, I'll probably do the same when Mario Maker inevitably comes to Switch.

They're really showing how diverse this is, a lot more control over the physics and types of games you can create.

Looks like a combo of LittleBigPlanet, Tilt Brush and Minecraft. Like jawa says, the ambition on display is humbling but I suspect it will essentially be LBP3 with a short Single Player campaign.

The art style is strawberry floating lovely though.

Much more than the game creation tool LBP was. They've showcased sculpture, animation, music/sound creation, traditional game creation. It's a feature dense suite of digital tools. They've also stated VR will be supported further down the line. I personally cannot wait for it.

Thanks for the heads-up NickSCFC.

As more is revealed it seems this is built on the LBP principles of Play, Create, Share but ramped up to the nth degree. After launch it's also likely to be getting the ability to create VR games - I bet the Sony moderators are looking forward to that!

Hopefully we'll get a release date for later this year for this, it feels like this game has been in development for ages.

Dreams is only game that has me interested in actually trying VR with. Potential is crazy. Especially with world building.

This sounds amazing, I doubt I'll make anything in it, but I'm really looking forward to playing around with the things the community come up with.
