2000AD's biggest audience are adults though, the same strawberry floats who bought it in the 80's are still buying it now, I didn't start until the early 90's, and always enjoyed the progs because they were cheaper than the Marvel and DC jobs, and always felt like they weren't for kids if you know what I mean, they were as standard more violent comics I found and reading them now they have a really dark tone to some of them.

I'm thinking of the Irish rating. I remember there being a huge furore about it at the time. How on earth it didn't get an 18 is beyond me.

I can't quite remember which films they are, but there's been many a time I've put a DVD on that's a 15 BBFC and an 18 over in Ireland.

Haven't watched it all yet but one hell of a crafted film for a fan project.

This past weekend, Urban was a guest at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, and the topic of Dredd came up during his panel on Saturday afternoon. Urban, and noted that “conversations are happening” regarding a followup to Dredd on Amazon or Netflix.
