I got the no limits and finish line DLC yesterday (the only 2 not included with the season pass) and the bikes DLC (not really interested, but hey it's more driveclub).

Leader boards stay active until March, as does online. Then everything goes bar single player stuff.

Gonna try to take some world records before then.

I've just given bikes a try. I've played one with the free one you got at some point but always found it really frustrating, but now having spent time with them i really enjoyed it, and wish I'd bought this ages ago.

We need some bike races!

It is/was one of the best racing games I've ever played. It's an amazing time trial racer, and strawberry floating fantastic online. Look at the vids on the first pages of this topic,

It's a fantastic game that we had a fantastic time with online with the guys on here.
I may be in the minority here but I thought the graphics were some of the best in the racing game genre and the game was just massive fun to play. Why Sony didn't stick with it I'll never know as they keep sticking with Gran Turismo and that's so far up its own arse it's not funny.

A next gen version would have been all kinds of awesome and a certain candidate for the promotional showcase for the PS5.

I pre-ordered the game and I think the season pass and I have zero regrets and it's in the top 3 for the best value for money game purchase of all time for me.

Agreed! Easily the best racing game of the last 7 years, perhaps even ever. And the best looking game this generation too.

Grab a disc copy. You won’t be able to get the DLC which doubled the size of the game but there’s still plenty there to justify what a disc would cost. You really need to play it while the leaderboards are still up though because it’s what keeps you going “just one more” before you realise that you’ve lost over an hour of your life

I've just realised that the bikes DLC itself had DLC not covered in the season pass, so I missed out on that

Got Ad's invite at the weekend via a push notification on my phone; it raised a smile. Proper blast from the past. I will attempt, and fail massively, to take on your challenge.

I miss receiving challenges from driveclub. Was always fun to have a go at them.

This is a bikes one so very doable as I'm not that great at bikes yet. Getting better though.

We need a bikes multiplayer evening so I can get a trophy .

Bikes are great fun, really pissed off at myself for leaving it this long to buy it as the multiplayer is dead now.

Fancied a bit of time trialing tonight, so I decided to go back to RUF Ride and see if I could improve on my 35th place slot.

21st now 8-)

There's a good second on the table too if I can just string it together. On one run I was over half a second up on my best for the first sector alone and i glanced at the map to see the world record car was oonly just in front of me. I then got all nervous and binned it on a really easy corner :fp:

A next gen version of Driveclub would have been strawberry floating amazing.
It already looked great so just an upgrade to 4k 60 and a few extra bells and whistles and a version on PSVR V2 could have been a real showcase game for the system.

So sad that they dumped this and kept the boring shite that is Gran Turismo :cry:

And you're right that Gran Turismo is shite. Lets take a racing game and suck all the fun and joy out of it. Load of pish.

This was one of the few racing games I regularly played (with peeps from here) and enjoyed. strawberry floating Sony.

I recently finished up Forza Horizon 2 and I honestly can't believe that game was compared (often favourably) to this :fp:

they're not even in the same league. Gameplay, visuals, sound, fun, UI. It's all 1000 times better in Driveclub.
