I think this gif sums it up, the girl is gog.com (and most of the gaming press/community) and the boy is EA:

Same here. Thank you for posting this.

Heard a lot about the game but never tried it. Will be interesting to see if it still holds up today.

Some good might actually come of this. If EA decide that a new DK, a proper one, might be popular then...

EA is run by people who can't see past the pure profit-making capability of microtransactions. A proper Dungeon Keeper will never happen. EA have become Zynga, only a million times worse.

They still publish console and PC games though right? Who says a battlefield-esque model of game+ expansions wouldn't work?

Plus, the goodwill generation of a proper DK game would be immediate. Look at the XCOM shooter Vs XCOM turn based thing.

Why did Bullfrog have to die. I was playing Dungeon Keeper 2 yesterday and by god it's amazing. Bullfrog were so great.

Extremely late to the party but due to this offer I am playing through Dungeon Keeper for the 1st time.

What a fantastic game this is, I do miss Bullfrog :( Will definitely purchase the 2nd game thanks to GOG

Arguably don't bother.

It was the most perfunctory of sequels Little more than a visual update released by the twitching corpse of Bullfrog as EA defiled their remains.
