This seems like the sort of title that comes to Game Pass in 6 months or less - I will try it then. I quite like what I have read, but not enough to purchase it.

CDkeys refunded my purchase, looks like they couldn't cover the deluxe edition for £42 and stated insufficient keys, however, it now shows the deluxe edition for £65.

Well I'm about an hour in and I'm having a lovely time. It looks lush (performance mode) and the systems are starting to be explained.

Story seems bobbins but not offensively so (yet) - characters and voice actors are fine.

I have found you start sprinting even when you don't wish to. Some goofy physics but overall same as the original.

Oh and the fov is pants, just max it.

It's my intention to re-start the first game tonight, instead of getting this now. I never did get the expansion either.

The DF showcase of graphics looks great, but with the issues being seen in reviews (I watched IGN), it might need a bit of patching time.

I've been playing the Xbox version of this lately but it definitely still has bugs in both the gameplay and visuals. Occasionally I'll get graphical glitches of massive texture walls obscuring views in the middle of the road, or just a texture sticking out of a building like a platform, until I totally quit the game and re open it.

Have also had issues with grab bars just flat out not working and so you just jump into them and fall.

The idea of making the Right Bumper the jump button is also just baffling. I keep trying to press A since that makes sense as a jump button. Even more baffling is that Right Bumper is ALSO the dodge button, so half the time you'll be trying to jump, whilst on a small/narrow platform, and instead you'll make a sharp dodge to the side/backwards and fall off a building to your death.

I'm enjoying it overall but it does feel quite "beta version" in places.

Decided to buy this yesterday. Small digital download and it runs really well. Opening is excellent with some great moments of tension and the controls feel very natural after a while.

Weapon durability also seems to be well done with them being able to take a lot before they break.

Not sure if I'll get the paid DLC. Will see how I get on with the main quest.

Wish my image sig would work
