It feels like so many games are now due to release in February or March. Of course, everyone will be willing to buy all of these new games at £70 a pop and so this will work out well :toot: .

14-page feature in this month's EDGE. Out next week, I think.

When I saw the cover I thought Nemesis had returned from Resident Evil.

Quality Mode that features raytracing, a Resolution Mode promising a resolution boost to 4K, and a Performance Mode, pushing the frame rate to 60fps and beyond.

Techland has also spoken a little about cross-play. Sadly, it says Dying Light 2's co-op mode won't support cross-platform and cross-generation play on consoles "at launch", but cross-play will be available on PC, with Steam and Epic Games Store players able to join forces in their zombie-smashing adventures.

I'll be going with performance mode.

It does make me wonder if any mid gen refresh will have the ability to have the quality mode running at a stable 60fps though.

Does Miles Morales not allow you to do that.

Presumably they’ll keep pushing graphics so that as long as you can lock to 30FPS they’ll keep going it’s ever moving goalposts.

I'm just assuming it would be an extremely quick and cheap way for games made now to get an upgrade for the mid gen machines.
Maybe plonk some of the graphics settings a bit higher as well so nearer to the maxed-out PC version as the PC will be on the 4080 or maybe even the 5080 series cards by the time of the mid gen.

They seem to have done amazing work on the last gen consoles.
Even the XB1 version looks really good. Yes it'll be lower res and I assume at 30fps but it still looked great to me and the game seems really scalable so it'll be interesting to see how it looks at the other end on maxed PC hardware.

I'm really looking forward to this as a test of the XSX.

(This is going down as more added)

Pretty big spread of scores - IGN are particular damning about tech issues

Dying Light 1 had glitches that they fixed so ill get when it's cheap and throws in some of that 'FIVE YEARS' worth of DLC

€70 saved.

Still undecided. Love the first, love the idea of this, and that's a good spread of reviews. All 9/10s would have made it a sure think or 5/6s would have made it a hold off. Bloody muddy middle groun

Definitely a game that will be very cheap on PSN by Christmas. I'll get it then, when the bugs are fixed. First one was a brilliant surprise of a game, this looks more of the same but lacks the polish I'd expect for the price.

Wish my image sig would work

If memory serves me right the first one was a bit of a mess at launch but they worked on it for years and it quickly became great, I expect this to be the same...
