...makes Dead Rising 3 look antiquated.

This, on PS4..

Night has fallen. The hunter has become the hunted. And with it the infected have become something far more sinister: modern, shitty, running zombies! Oh the humanity!

Enjoyed Dead Island and so will keep an eye on this.

Dead Island made Dead Rising LOOK antiquated as well. Until you actually played them and Dead Island turned out to be completely broken, and Dead Rising turned to be an incredibly well honed game.

Its War Z meets Tomb raider. Kinda scarey too.

Looks really good. That chase section at the end - I wonder if the environment actually allows for that many routes through buildings all the time, or if it was a carefully choreographed bit of gameplay. Hopefully the former. Anyway, it seems to bring something new and interesting to the zombie subgenre, which was dying (lol) for something different.

This game also makes me really look forward to a next-generation Far Cry 4.

I venture out whenever I smell a zombie story...

Looks alright. Lots of running and jumping around and some thoroughly unsatisfying looking combat, it seems.

Looks average, yawn for another zombie game.

It's basically The dialog over radio guiding you where to go feels like ZombiU with the main game play being Mirrors Edge. The day seems to go way to quickly, unlike Pikmin, it doesn't quite work because of the real world setting and watch, not an alien planet.

Technically and visually impressive but as game, just looks a bit meh. The collect and return mission structure for a game is quite boring, hope it isn't too much like ZombiU in that sense.

There doesn't seem to be a threat, you can just jump right over zombies like Super Mario

Yawn another zombie game that isn't really like other zombie games other than the fact it has zombies in it.

From this is just looks like ZombiU 2, with the Mirrors Edge free running mechanic.

What's the exciting thing here, the zombies get infected with Las Plagas when it goes dark?

The hiding thing sounds pretty cool.

Seeing as movement plays a big part in this game due to the parkour angle, maybe they should bring in a weight limit for the weapons or a movement punishment for carrying too many.

Looks interesting. It also looks like it's on the Frostbite engine as well.

Free running and zombie slaying potentially could be fantastic but I'm always skeptical when developers add in free running elements because I always think the action suffers for it. I don't want to shimmy up a lamppost I want to wave around a big gun.

There are plenty other games you can do that in though.

It was mostly sarcasm on my part Jax. I do think this game looks very good I'm hoping it has multiplayer I can see many a night spent jumping over walls and chopping up zombies online.

Techland couldn't make a decent game if their lives depended on it. Not massively impressed by the footage, either.
