E3 2013 Rumour list

Amirox at GAF has been collecting various rumours posted there so here's the list, take with a handful of salt:-
Xbox One
● Hawken console exclusive
● League of Legends console exclusive
● Mirror's Edge 2 (various retailer leaks now seem to back this up) console exclusive (said to be coming to PC too)
● Halo 4: II with cross platform play with 360 version
● Respawn Studio's game, "Titan", exclusive
● Insomniac new IP exclusive
● Dead Rising III exclusive
● Killer Instinct
PS4
● Final Fantasy Versus XIII changes into Final Fantasy XV, exclusive
● Planetside II console exclusive
● PS+ = Early access to Sony Pictures films, free PS1/PS2 games over Gakai
● Kingdom Hearts 2.5 for PS4? Due in 2014
● Demon Soul's 2 in development (not sure if this or KH will be at E3, but just in case)
● Last Guardian moved to PS4
Wii U - all from 1 source so could be all wrong
● Star Tropics by Retro Studios
● Mario Kart Wii U (literally a souped up Mario Kart 7)
● Zelda U MAY have some concept art, but game is too far away for much to be shown at the moment
● Super Mario U (biggest Mario yet, the guy gave the title 'Super Mario Retroverse U', to tell us a name for the game they were considering to give us an idea where they're going with it, but that WON'T be the final name. You may see Wart)

I've seen a rumour going round that the new smash bros game is called Super Smash bros Unite! Apparently the name came from a) the ability to "unite" the Wii U and 3DS versions and b) that the roster is "uniting" characters from multiple franchises and companies

I just want to see Perfect Dark 2 and a Banjo Kazooie platformer, that would make my E3.

It's quite possibly the one game that will one day be found at the bottom of the barrel when scraping for obscure Nintendo IPs to resuscitate. The game is the most niche IP that Nintendo sits on, and it would be way too much of a risk to do anything big with unless they 'do a Kid Icarus' and bring it up in the next Smash game and then make a 3DS game off the back of its success.

If it isn't then it'd piss off a lot of fans not wanting to buy a PS4, at this point the safe option is to put it on both platforms like Twilight Princess but because of the differences in system, I doubt that'll happen...
Got a feeling this is a launch title.

Not too sure myself. I can certainly see it on both consoles (I highly doubt it'll be PS4 exclusive now) but I think it just being on PS3 is more likely. It's not going to appeal to the biggest audience and that audience will likely already have a PS3 so why complicate an already troubled development with converting it to PS4?

The Last Guardian should be a PS3 & PS4 (launch title) game. Makes sense..everyone not wanting a PS4 at the moment buys it for PS3 and those upgrading get it on PS4..Win-Win.
I really hope the Banjo Kazooie rumour is true..there is nothing on Xbox1 so far which resembles a good old fashion adventure/platformer..i certainly need one of those!

The word is that Sony footed a lot of the bill for Versus development. Also that S-E's new engine was made with full support from SCEJ.

I'd say the opposite is the case.
They have to release that game on PS3, putting it out on PS4 next to games made from the ground up for PS4 isn't going to do it any favours.

The reasons given to us for it's prolonged development and no shows have always been "technical", so it wouldn't be a shock if Sony decided several years ago to switch it to PS4. That's more than enough time to rebuild the game from the ground up to take advantage of the new hardware.
Personally I still think it's a PS3 game but who knows.

Same. I would be pissed if it's a X-Box exclusive
again. I absolutely loved the Dead Rising series. I am set on the PS4 as my console and I am sure that the wife wouldn't let me have both systems.

Never played KH II, but is there ever going to be a III? I only ever see spin-offs.
