E3 2014 - What are your plans/rituals?

Show times (UK) according to IGN:

Microsoft - Monday June 9th at 5.30pm
EA - Monday, June 9th at 8pm
Ubisoft - Monday, June 9th at 11pm
Sony - TBA
Nintendo - Tuesday, June 10th at 5pm, (Online only)

I'd assume a 1/2am start for Sony as per usual.

Just watch Nintendo conf if my usual mates are up for it; otherwise I'll read the summaries after it's over. Will be doing latter for Microsoft/Sony as well.

Cans and some GR banter.

I'm out there for my fourth year in a row. Going to be weird just doing the single format stuff again, but I'm looking forward to a less manic time split four-ways. Unfortunately I have to cut Thursday short because we need to catch a late afternoon flight back. Sigh.

Which format will you be concentrating on, Pell?

Hell yes. Third year in a row!

I love E3. It's fun to just give in to the hype for a week, chatting on Twitter as the announcements come in. Then I've got the rest of the week to ease back into a sane sleep pattern.

To be fair, I'm about due a week off anyway.

I'll be working, so I guess I'll have to hope for concise summaries of the conferences being posted in helpfully easy to find topics here... or that they'll all be viewable on my Wii U later.

I'll try to watch the events I can, but for the most part, not many live viewings for me.

It's going to be on this forum.

I can't wait for gifs. Last year gifs was bloody good.

Especially this gem.

I don't think anything major or gif worthy is going to happen. They are just going to be showing off new games that won't be out for ages.

As we always have a presence at e3 I'll be getting live updates while at work . :datass:

I'm also allowed to watch any live or repeated streams while working :nod:

That would be good. A new ES games would be better, but there is no chance of that.

I'm not going (though the tech editor is asking last minute if I can) but I will be doing all I can to cover it here.

No real plans or rituals. I'll watch the big three conferences if I'm around, but won't go out of my way to catch them. Less fussed than ever about E3 I think.

Sony's E3 conference will on live June 9th at 12:00 or 13:00 GMT. It will be different this year with no Jack Tretton. Got to like him over the years. 2am our time.
